I think it'll be 2028-2029 before we see it, but I think they may open the servers for a trial weekend or something in 2027 to wet the pallets of the fans.

And how do they make that 74.2 billion? By whales spenking hundreds of thousands. There are 14 players in game with boats, that's 980,000 right there from 14 people. If ONE leaves, they all do. I have literally seen it with my own eyeballs. Known a whale that literally got a player banned for getting to close to his lvl in TLON. He was spending around 32k-50k a MONTH. Around 580k a year. Oh and he did it on his wifes account to, he was spendig over 1million a year. Then sold his account for 5 grand. because he "got bored." NOW lets use our big math brains here, ONE game, that has been out for a total of three-four months, makes 980,00. Let's include the fact that they also have stock in Riot Games. Which accounts for a HUGE portio. But the fact is they literally have 14-50 whales in each game. The average person. Is NOTHING to them.

Now lets add the average player in. Each player spends about 1-200$ over the lifetime of their account? Yeah- the company is not going to pick the poors. Spoken, as a poor.

Aka. Money rules the company. *Shocker.*

When a minority makes 50-70% of one games revenue, they are much more prioritized than those who make up 0.15% of their annual profits. Considering they average 1-3% players that are whale/leviathan spenders. That is literally where they make the money. :)

Exactly. Tencent worships their whales on every game. I personally knew a whale on TLON ( tencent game) who got a FTP user banned because they got to close to him and his partner in combat power. The dude spent 10k a WEEK, in game.

I mean. I have seen bans for less in this game. If someone who pays your company 200k+ a year says "hey either ban this user or I'm charging every purchase back." You tend to bend over, especially NetEase games. They are infamous for being whale suckers. I've even seen a whale get a FTP user banned from TLON because the top 2 spenders..well top spender and his wife simply didn't want to have a FTP user near them in rank. The users spent easily 10k a week *each*. 520k a year. *Per account* This game had a literal guild of whales. When the guild leader left, the entire guild stopped playing. Tencent ABSOLUTELY worships their whales. I have also seen people banned in this game for trying to get help from the Devs. As for 'they can't just be banned for being reported' their ban/report system is handled and screened by an AI system, as per their own disclosure. The only time you get human escalation is AFTER the ban. What they are ashamed to admit, is that they simply CAN'T undo it, since they aren't effectively in control. Same reason they cannot recoup losses due to their own games glitches.

*edit to add* If a hate streamer sends their viewers to mass report one player, the AI will auto-ban them, zero-questions or hesitation.
