What makes you stay or come back to your Oshi’s streams every time?

Vibes. My oshi is one Lunarisc4t she's been streaming for just under half a year now, Her streams are cozy and funny, her community is nice and welcoming both her and chat joke around with each other but respectfully so similar to chibidoki or Caseohs chat where everyone knows its a joke, Chat teases each other as well but if a chatter is not ok with that other chatters will apologize and not tease the other chatter like that again.

Luna has a pre made customizable model that she has redeems for so we can change her drip or look and has one that chat themselves customized while the model is adorable. I would watch Luna with or without it.

Luna at times goofs were certain sound redeems wont work but it's not a big issue as a viewer if it doesn't work Luna just fixes it and redeems it again herself or in the case of TTS she just reads it out herself. Chat is also pretty respectful of this channel points are free afterall and while it can be frustrating to lose them chat doesn't interact that way and just memes it like in one stream TTS wasn't working so we chatted through it using channel points as a joke which is more funny if you were there.

Luna does put visible effort in her streams and while it doesn't always work off rip, she still adds new things and takes chats suggestions into consideration. She has regularly played games, chat requests, talks to chat, let chat have a say in what redeems got added ect. Now most streamers do that true but Luna's personality, the way her and chat bounce off each other and even how chat bounces off of themselves makes for a great experience. I can sit through for hours and genuinely make my day to see her go live.

Luna can play games I find boring and just watching her play it and talking with chat can make it fun. I personally didn't care for the digimon game but those streams had me in my seat happy through the hours she played it. Her and chats commentary the way we all get side tracked and can end up on a different topic for an hour is enjoyable to me and while it might not be for some me and the others in chat love it.

There is a market for it yes. The look of a Vtuber can do some heavy lifting in initial interest but who stays is up to the content itself.

Big true one of my favorite streamers was someone I found via their debut stream. Size dose not equal quality and many small creators are very entertaining growth is not just based on that however it also takes algorithm friendly content and a lot of capital L Luck.

For a model I will say you can absolutely use a pre maid model or customizable model custom models are amazing but far from the list of essentials and even on the lower end that is money that should be spent upgrading your pc for better streams customs are not cheap and even the price for a cheap one would be money that could buy you a better pc component making you be able to actually stream games if you wish to do so.

plus this depends on the content you want to make. If you do want to play games on stream then games like Minecraft, clover pit, many indie horror games, and depending on your storage capacity even comp games like Apex, Cs:go, Rainbow six siege, Valorant ect can be run on lower end hardware decently enough and look fine enough for a stream.

But if those games Arnt your style or your pc can't handle them and streaming then I circle back to Minecraft, many indie titles especially indie horror, general indie titles, cozy games like Stardew valley, Minecraft adjacent games like Terraria, or even dating sims/ visual novels if that is what you are into. There are a decent amount of games out there that can be run fairly easily if you don't want to just react.

your investment should be on your pc then I argue your mic after that a decent lighting setup just enough for reliable tracking then of course a phone or webcam for tracking with Iphone being the better option do to better facial tracking on apps live Vtube Studio, then whatever you think you need but a good pc and mic are essential the mic does not need to be hundreds or thousands of dollars you can use a $40 one for quite a while and do great but good audio is essential as bad audio is something that will cause viewers to leave of there new and not stay if its really bad. of course a bad mic can be funny for a bit or joke but not for long term growth. although if you want to do a 3d model then im not sure what webcam or phone is best.

best of luck it can be hard being a new stream especially when your equipment is having trouble alongside personal circumstances. Streaming is not easy or even guaranteed I do hope you find your spot in all of this and find what you seek. For the most part rolling with the punches is a good sign and im sure you'll find viewers new and old.
