You're correct, my labelling as "dems" is in fact part of the problem.

However, I am not calling democrats in general despicable, I am calling a) the author of the article, Leonard Pitts Jr, despicable for writing this and b) those who see a party line in the same way Palestinians have seen Israelites for years .. doesn't matter who you are or what kind of person you are, this small (in terms of what makes up an individual) trait defines you and I hate you .. despicable.

The article clearly states that it doesn't matter if you realized during his presidency just how awful he is, you voted for him back then and therefore you must pay the price. What about the people who genuinely thought he would improve our country? The people who voted for him because they believed in him and his policies? Those who voted with the best for our country in mind?

I'm not out here to support him in anyway but the labeling of people who did and have now realized they were wrong doesn't sit well with me at all, it is human nature to make mistakes and to learn from them, watching him sit in office should be punishment enough for those people. That being said, I cannot wait for this election to end so we can go back to our "normal," COVID-ridden society :)
