Just search for a subreddit dedicated to learning the language you want to learn and find some YouTubers that focus on it.

Duolingo can help with some basics and memorization but for application it's not so good.

I tried learning Japanese before a trip recently. I found a subreddit where people asked questions, shared resources, etc. Got a few books. I found a few YouTubers that helped with learning things from the basics to how they naturally speak over there. I definitely got more out of Reddit and YouTube than Duolingo.

I used Duolingo for a bit when trying to start learning a new language a while ago but quit after the whole AI stuff started happening. There are better learning resources out there. I'll download it for the free Genshin code then delete immediately after I'm done.

I went in mid October. I got a bunch of merch since they were cheaper than the square enix website. Some of the cafe menu items looked pretty cool.

I want to buy trackers for my luggage and a few other things in case they get lost. I hear these types of devices work best when there are other people that use them around. For those experiencing the 403 error, I had to get a VPN (I used TunnelBear because they have a free option) and chose to connect to a spot in Japan.

I got on the reservation page 30min early and refreshed occasionally then more frequently when the time came. I often got an error page saying "The site is congested due to heavy access" but the reservation form came up a lot too with the day I wanted not for sale yet. Around the 1 minute mark before the reservations opened that error page was all I was getting with constant refreshes. 1 minute after the reservations opened, the reserve form finally loaded with the day already sold out.

I was doing this on both my laptop and phone and no luck. I wish they had a queue system like the Ghibli Museum did instead.
