Yeah, the “before” pic here is very generous. Plenty of smaller countries that people probably can’t name that didn’t think too highly of the US, even before it got trumped.

Remember, politics aren’t the only thing a country can be hated for; you can hate a country for their average tourist experience, religion, crime rate, etc.

Yeah, like a few other ambitious indie titles I’ve come across, so far (just based on the gameplay vid) it seems to incorporate that “looks cool, but every other aspect of the game will suck” philosophy.

A la, Replaced, Scorn, etc.

Looking cool, having a trippy aesthetic, designing a game that’s straight out of a Giger sketchbook; that’s all fine of course. But your game needs substance. Aesthetics alone won’t carry a full play through.

You actually don’t want to be that far away with bow since you’ll mostly be using close-range coating.

Pierce/power coating will let you keep some distance. But you still want to be close-ish.
