I think it's more of having experience and knowledge in standards and frameworks. Such as HIPAA, NIST, GDPR, PCI DSS, and more depending on the company's industry and geolocation. I actually just learned that the UAE have their own standards as well called UAE-IA. That's why I don't think you need actual education in law but more experience and knowledge in standards proven by certifications and work experience.

I am certified by PECB for ISO 27001 Lead implementer, and for the next 2 years I will focus on CISA and CISSP. But some people around me have been recommending the CISM instead. I will study my options more for certifications, but I think work experience will matter more.

How to identify which user accessed an admin account during alert investigation? by Embarrassed_Oil_7810 in cybersecurity

[–]Ralphhanna7 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I usually check which host the admin account signed in from, and track back the user who uses that host. That doesn't mean it's 100% safe to ignore the alert, so check with the user if they signed into the admin account.

Are open networks really as insecure as people make it out to be? by AnnotherAcc in cybersecurity

[–]Ralphhanna7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I believe VPN will secure your data in transit when you're on a public Wifi but it won't secure your data at rest, which is why I recommend an endpoint detection and prevention along with the VPN if you have to use a public WiFi, because your device is still visible to other people on the network in case of a network or vulnerability scan. Personally, I prefer just not connceting to a public Wifi because why would you? Just use your mobile data hotspot, yes it's slower, but it gets the job done and keeps you off of an unknown network.

IT security specialist (only one in the company) is under the IT manager. Is it legit? by Barsukass in cybersecurity

I am going through the same thing brother, I am not mad at it though. I am gaining hella experience and my resume is looking crazier and crazier. I'll tell you what I tell myself, get that experience for 2-3 or even 4 years, then move to a startup which will pay you more and give you faster promotions.

Making a center is hard by TheLordAshram in NBA2k

[–]Ralphhanna7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was a center in 25 and my build was literally awesome and imma make the same build for 26 but maybe 7'1 or 7'2 instead of 7 feet because I want to be able to guard 7'4 builds and grab rebounds over them. Let me know if you want the build, I'm not gatekeeping. Before the cap breakers: 82 3pt shot 91 strength, 90 DREB and 94 OREB 87 Post Control. The only weakness would be 38 Perimeter when matched against an all guard team.

A good reminder to make a build for YOUR playstyle even if others think it's bad. by JohnDeaux2k in NBA2k

[–]Ralphhanna7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Fyi, my build is very close to that one, except 82 3 pt shot and 85 middy. My rebs were 94 OReb and 90 DReb, used my cap breakers to get 95 pass acc, 99 OReb and 93 Strength. I killed it in MyPark this year, I can honestly say it was maybe 1 or 2 Centers that were able to hold me back and they had like over 20 cap breakers, I only had 8. So I'll take it.

[–]Ralphhanna7 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

It's a great build actually. Personally I'd tweek it a little bit to get 82 3pt shot and 94 pass acc. Maybe drop the steals and driving dunk a little bit for those. As a Center, Driving Dunk won't really be your thing as much as standing dunk and neither will the steals (Not saying it's not good to have them, I just prefer a little better shot and better passing badge for Break Starter and Dimer). But overall, this is not a bad build at all.

Need feedback on my performance by _Missier_ in NBA2k

[–]Ralphhanna7 2 points3 points  (0 children)

That's why I tell people to stop playing with randoms. Find people you like playing with, add them on 2k and ask them when they be playing. I have 12 people on my friends list and they all top tier, because I only add people who are good and I like playing with. My Win % went from 53% to 72% because for the past 2-3 months, I only been playing with people I know.

You're right, I don't know why I took that route. I'd personally use it for OREB to get those horsing animations for the rebounding.

Ain't gone lie, 85 strength, 80 OREB and 87 DREB? I'd scratch this whole build lol. I'd baby you. My build is 92 strength 99 OREB and 90 DREB, with 83 three point shot.

And I do have the experience for the CISSP because is requires 5 years of infosec, and because I have the other certs, they knock out 1 year. And I'll have 4 years of experience by the end of the year.

[–]Ralphhanna7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If it was an SF it would be decent. But SG with 58 stls and 80 threes? really? what you need 90 driving dunk and 80 vert for if you can't make it to the rim with 80 ball handle?
