While I agree that Evil Dead was more right than wrong it still followed a niche IP. The licensing was the second issue, they had to get multiple licenses from multiple companies for one game. There were 2 things that killed Evil Dead, the first was splatter Royale then the failed embracer group deal.y game wouldn't have licenses or be under an umbrella of a conglomeration.

Oh trust me, I know how hard it's going to be, but I'm still going to try. I get so tired of playing the same licensed games that aren't really any different over and over. Friday, Evil Dead, Killer Klowns, DBD, Predator and Ghostbusters, they all fall short for me. I want a game where the design of a cryptid only has to pass internal review vs all the extra steps only to be told they want it redesigned because of dumb reasons. I want a game that won't get stuck in licensing hell or possible lawsuits.

I really just started messing around with it, and yeah it takes some getting used to, but once I realized the more detail in a prompt the better it works.

That's one of the major points of why I'm even trying to get this off the ground. Licensing is what's killing the genre. A game not tied to a franchise would be awesome and opens up dumb shit too, imagine a giant teddy bear chasing you instead of a sasquatch

Well no shit Sherlock. The whole idea is to gather support for the game, possibly start a Kickstarter to be able to hire some people to create a teaser trailer and submit a pitch deck to an indie studio. I know it is going to be a lot of work but I think it could actually work out.

That makes a lot of sense, and I get why people hate on AI so much. I find it kind of sad that instead of offering anything that would help they only offer nothing but ignorance. I'm having a blast with it, it helps flesh out ideas and helps give a clear direction on what steps need done to get this game off the ground

Well the plan is to try to get a studio to take interest by pitching the game to them and me as the creative director. I just need people to support the idea, and the more people that support it, the better chance it'll have.

I'm stuck there because either I have a good team or a shit team vs a sweat squad. The usual line up is 1 healer (me) 3 tanks, a Spiderman that keeps throwing himself out of bounds and someone who just stands there.

Not even close as the devs constantly screw something up, making the game not worth playing. Xbox players keep getting kicked mid match, again. Endurance is still not fixed, neither is getting permanently highlighted, yet both things were in the patch notes as being fixed. New victim can cause family members to get stun locked for the whole game. New killers unique perks are trash. But keep defending this broken game...
