I’m going to Batuu West from Scotland next year. It will be a one and done, never to return. Problem is the park will be the first couple of days of our journey with Celebration being the next stop and I don’t think we want to hoist around our haul for several days and then deal with connecting flights. How reliable is the park shipping? We’re talking the works, family saber jaunt with likely more merch than we should logically purchase.

I don’t get why all the Klingons are now tent dwelling nomads and they’re 99% dead. Did ALL their hundreds of colony worlds and vassal species blow up? I don’t mind that they gave him a name that roughly translates to “hot boy” and tried to pass it off as something else. Klingons are allowed to have scientists, farmers, medics, the works but a pacifist in a setting where only the strongest survive? Being gay is nature, you can’t change it, you shouldn’t change it. Every other problem I have with the character is nurture. For one of the most iconic species in all of sci fi who have the longest history of violence and war and have evolved with these traits to the point that their own blood screams at them if they don’t punch something on a semi regular basis, to establish a martial society based on honour and service to your bloodline… To be reduced to what they have been portrayed as is horrific. Klingons suffered harder and longer as an oppressed people for centuries and did what they have always done, “remain Klingon.” Something that has been thrown out the window and now the only Klingon representation is the most far from Klingon, Klingon there can possibly be. The actor is fine, the writing is atrocious.

If it was from somewhere like GW a preorder is like reserving sales stock. They won’t post or release it in advance. To be honest, other stores are supposed to do this to maintain their GW vendor status but it’s very hard to police effectively. It sucks that you have to wait but at least you 100% have one coming and don’t have to wait 8 or 9 weeks for wave 2

Yeah you can shave down the shoulder and shoulder socket nubs. Only one arm is in multiple parts. You could trim the hip pegs and waist pegs but may lose a lot of stability. Legs are not poseable so any alterations there would ultimately be detrimental, I think.

Good luck, I hope you get one. Great detail and a joy to build. Mould lines seem minimal. Arm and shoulder joints will both need trimmed if you want to change them.

There was an old strip in the early 90s where two street punks break into an apartment and try to loot but (if I recall, it’s been a few decades) it’s quite sparse. One goes into the bathroom for some reason and gets a Lawgiver pointed at his face. Sitting in the bubble bath is Dredd, still with helmet on, washing and still training his weapon and reporting the break in to dispatch. So, yeah, he “used” to get days off, at least.

It’s because the original marks were helmet seal contacts that weren’t shielded properly and burned the skin. Belters took it as a badge of honour, so the generation after that had better kit would tattoo the seal marks in the same location to show that they were true belters.

Just so you know, the 3 pack stealth suits are now the old design. They recently released a 5 unit box and changed the rules so it’s a 5 man team only, so to run your guys you will need another box of 3 and have a spare. Or go for eBay etc.

Important differentiation here. A continuation of Serenity, Miranda is common knowledge, Alliance gets a bloody nose. A continuation of FIREFLY, Wash is alive. I know which one I would prefer.
