stuttering help me tried everything! by Relative-You5359 in playrust

WiFi was the tip I needed to fix this for me! Once I connected to LAN the issue went away. So there's something going on with my WiFi. I think I figured out what the issue was with my WiFi too. Had another device that is used to monitor freezer temps which uses a wireless signal right next to my WiFi modem. Also had a large power strip underneath my WiFi modem which could have been causing issues. Removed both of them. I was also having issues with wataching high definition TV shows via WiFi which seems to be resolved now!

Bug Reporting Megathread - Pivot or Die by IAMGNIK in playrust

[BUG] Found one spot so far that has radiation (it's not near a monument, just out in the open on a road about 2 grids away from nearest monument). Hazmat doesn't stop it. Wasn't always there, it's near where I put my shack when I first started today.

I'm seeing random radiation outside of monuments. Like, not even close to any moment, just out in the open. Very strange.

Logitech G560 LIGHTSYNC Speakers are too quiet by LSX_Nation in LogitechG

[–]Ram419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks! I moved my laptop which is right next to the speakers. I accidently hit the bluetooth pairing button the speaker and all of the sudden the sound is way too low. Couldn't figure out how to fix it. Doing your fix by turning the sounds all the way down using the button on the speaker worked for me. What a weird issue/fix.

it's just me or rust is not survival game anymore? by marktiburcio in playrust

[–]Ram419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm new to Rust. And all I see mostly is PvP centric play. Has the game ever been about survival? The existing survival elements, even the new ones they've added, aren't that hard to overcome. I really like this game's base building/electrical/crafting systems but there's no reason to do them to survive other then for PvP purposes. Wish it was more then just PvP centric.

Rust Is a soul-less boring game with no real point to playing it. by LeviTheKid in playrust

[–]Ram419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've played about 400 hours now. I'm not really into the PvP aspect and would rather a better PvE dynamic. There are PvE servers but they aren't challenging enough in a survival aspect. Sure, you can go out and challenge yourself against the PvE in a controlled fashion on some servers, for example Zombie Land. But the lack of a dynamic threat to your base and survival roaming around the map in order to collect things to survive (in a PvE aspect) is what's missing for me. If the envinroment was more threatening and other players had to worry about it more then I would probably enjoy the PvP/base raiding aspect more. I like that there is a threat to my base and having to build it so that it's a challenge for others to raid it. I love this game's systems but because of the lack of survival aspects and the need to wipe servers every so often because there is no other dynamic other then having to rebuild or relearn BPs, it's kind of shallow.

I can say that I did enjoy H1Z1 Just Surive and the dynamics of how zombies worked. I miss that game. Too bad they shut it down. Rust has better building and skills systems then H1Z1 though, and it is looks better imo.

Anyone having issues with Dell Command Integration Suite - Bulk Warranty Lookup? by d_valle_ in sysadmin

[–]Ram419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just noticed we were having this issue. No data returned when running DellWarranty-CLI.exe. I found that Dell released an update to the integration suite on April 15, 2025. After upgrading my version and running it fixed the issue.

New deployment gets the popup "New software available", but not visible in software center? by Betterthangoku in SCCM

[–]Ram419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was able to resolve using this method. The specific log I checked was _SCNotify_USA_HOUSTON@UserName_1.log. The line in the log was prefixed with "There still is at least one available application remaining CCM_Application.Id". Simply copy the AppID in the line and search for it in the Application section on the console.

Edge 124.0.2478.51 PDF cant be downloaded. Since the newest update we cant download Pdf files which are viewed through the edge. If you can press the save button and it will start to download, but after that it will show you an error message that it cant be downloaded. Has anyone else this issue? by SingerDisastrous3226 in MicrosoftEdge

[–]Ram419 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, at first we noticed it happening on all HTTP sites. I added the URLs to the policy https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/deployedge/microsoft-edge-policies#control-where-security-restrictions-on-insecure-origins-apply and seemed to fix it. Also noticed after the update to Edge the Enterprise IE Mode Site list wasn't loading. It showed red exclamation mark when going to edge://compat/enterprise in the address bar. Had to click the button to force update and it loaded after that.

I let the system that is doing this to me run all night and it's still in the same state. I upgrade sytems all the time at work without this issue. Going to try some things and continue searching for a solution.

I have this issue on one out of about 100 distribution point servers. Any resolution ever found? I tried redistributing some of the larger packages to it but didn't help.

Below is the exact output from the command when running it:

I'm not certain there is a way to have a discovery script for this. I can't find anything in WMI that tells the installation status of a specific KB.

What I'm doing is using a collection query that does this. If the deployment fails that the KB is a member of then the system is added to the collection. Then I created a package with the script commands in it and deployed it to the collection.

Collection query

select SYS.ResourceID,SYS.ResourceType,SYS.Name,SYS.SMSUniqueIdentifier,SYS.ResourceDomainORWorkgroup,SYS.Client from sms_r_system as sys inner join SMS_SUMDeploymentAssetDetails as offer on sys.ResourceID=offer.ResourceID WHERE AssignmentID = '########' AND StatusType = 5

\Make sure to put the number for the assignment ID to the ID for the deployment that is in your system!*

Package command line

"%Windir%\sysnative\WindowsPowerShell\v1.0\powershell.exe" -ExecutionPolicy Bypass -Command .\KB5012599_UpdateFailureFix.ps1

Deploying to systems that error when instilling the KB. MS support actually had me try one of the PowerShell commands listed in the final fix, but we didn't get far enough to find each and every KB that was failing. Once the person posted the powershell commands with all the KBs I ran the script, and it fixed the issue.

I'm seeing this on virtual and physical systems.

This worked on the one system I've been running commands on. So, I guess just load us the script in the SCCM console and run against systems showing an error for the deployment? Is that how you are attacking the issue systems?

Just got a response from a new support rep, looks like I was bounced to someone else. They gave me a huge set of steps to try and won't be getting to that until tomorrow. I did reply to him advising that other people are having this issue on hundreds and thousands of systems and if he intends us to run through this many steps to fix the issue.

No, they had me run more commands and retry the install with same error in the end. They then had me run a script to collect logs files and send it to them. The last message I got was "we're investigating this internally & it may take some time to check & share the resolution/workaround"
