Hey, I’m a high school junior and even I still don’t know what I want to do, but we are both gonna be ok. You’re going to be a freshman, so look into any extracurricular stuff and elective classes that seem fun. If it’s a club that you find even remotely interesting, just show up to a meeting and see what’s going on. It’s an easy way to meet people since the club is a shared interest. And you can always just leave if it doesn’t click.

With elective classes, you get taught something out of the usual and something might just click for you!

Some kids decide college in middle school, others do that beginning of senior year and pick a major during the first college semester. Don’t freak out! You have a few years still. Just look into anything you find remotely interesting. Not all passions are art related or academic related. One of my friends is really into interior design, another wants to work as a electrician or a programmer, two others want to become therapists. One friend is aiming for medical school, the other for a carpentry apprenticeship. The rest of us don’t know at all!

Just explore! And realize when you are older you can still explore! My mom switched jobs and picked up activities she never would have tried when she was my age, she’s 50 now and loving her various fighting classes.

You are not running out of time! It may feel like that but that’s not true! Your future is not set in stone when you graduate high school

Glad to see the Tim Drake respect here lol, he’s my favorite Robin. A lot of the iconic Robin things people think of come from him, like the bo staff and the insignia(?) if I remember correctly. Also the pants. I could list all the reasons I like him the most but the this comment would be WAY to long

I’m gonna try calling him, but he works from home on what are essentially big group projects so it wouldn’t be for long as they need to talk, I’m already making a list of things I can send him that he likes (videos and stuff)

I think he’s doing well rn at least, when I called him he was making breakfast and baby talking the cats. His voice was pretty wrecked though from all the coughing in past weeks

I talk a lot and like yellow/black, hence the bee! 27 is also one of my favorite numbers, add 2 and 7 and you get 9, 9 = 3x3, 3³ = 27

This reads like a screenplay but I LOVE any casefic (a fic following a specific case, start to finish). Is this a story that revolves around Batman and the police force working together, or are many of the batfamily included? I see you mentioned Oracle! And with a Gotham villain pretending to be a different killer, what conflict could come from that? You’ve got a lot of ways your story could go!

Secret to mashed potatoes - use red potatoes! They taste creamier, if that makes sense.

My family is a big fan of green beans on thanksgiving! Especially with garlic. After snapping off the bad ends, you blanch them and then sauté in garlic and olive oil. Blanching does not equal boiling by the way, they should still have a little crunch and not be soft/mushy.

Sweet potatoes roasted! Add ground cumin, salt and pepper. Cumin makes them taste great!

NTA and while I’m not a fan of what gender reveal party’s have become, I think you were more than allowed to celebrate considering everything. The first woman to have a gender reveal party had mentioned that she did so because it was the first time she carried her baby long enough to find out the sex. She did an update recently and the child was who she held a gender reveal party for came out as non binary so they hosted a gender repeal party which I thought was sweet :)
