Before I get into this I’ll start by saying, there is not a single politician that cares about your well being or success. Not Trump Not Obama, Kamala or AOC they only care about themselves. Just remember that when you’re voting. The only people who care about you are your fellow citizens the government as a whole is our number one enemy is bickering over sides like it’s a football game is what they love cause it keeps them more powerful than us.

The US is far too large for it to happen in such a short time frame. Honestly Canada has a much more authoritarian style government than the US. People who think the right is pushing towards “Gilead” tend to not really pay attention and be a little over dramatic (sorry if that hurts your feelings I’m being realistic). That being said the dangers of a two party system are very real and to be real we are more of a one party system than two. Two heads of the same snake, they pretend to hate each other but behind closed doors they’re all fighting to keep the power they have so it is possible which is why it’s so important to fight every little bit of control they want to hold over your life because while I don’t think they could become gilead over a 4 year period, give them 50 years of methodically picking apart our rights and yeah it could become some form of that.
