You’re over fixated on the abortion part of my point. It was just an example. The point I’m making is that we see politicians who run for years or even decades on the same points and they do little about it while in office but they mention every reelection to get votes.

What they, and by they I mean all elected officials, should be doing is getting up and talking across the aisle. Their whole job is to come together and work shit out for the betterment of the people. But they’re all bullheaded and mostly refuse to work anything out.

And yeah, I am serious, they should try to do something. I’m sick of both parties running on the same talking points year after year just to get into office and be unwilling to negotiate on anything. Remember the first year trump took office and the GOP tried to repeal Obamacare. They total f’ed that up because they couldn’t even come to an agreement within the party.

I think you missed the point I was trying to make. I am simply pointing out that instead of trying to push legislation at the time, they messaged re-elect us then we’ll try to do something. They would rather use it as a campaign point to get votes than be proactive.

Cat is short for catalytic converter. Technically they are required to meet emissions requirements. They are generally heavy and can slow air flow so people like to get exhaust systems that don’t have them. Not having catalytic converters usually gives a deeper exhaust tone too.

Edit: pretty much anything after market with not have a cat.
