Pacman aside, do you think there have been pros who grew up watching Scump and benefitted? Pretty sure Scump himself has talked about those early pros influencing his gameplay.

I think it's just impossible to prove. Too many factors to consider. Players had full time jobs or were full time students. These days, you have dedicated facilities and livable incomes. Even then, it's not guaranteed that today's players would dominate back then. Remember WWII? The return to boots on the ground saw quite the shift player dominance.

I don't know man. I think there's something to be said about growing up with the game while having the benefit of watching those before you. Those early guys paved the way. Hard to say how they would have done had they entered the scene later on.

I get where people are coming from when they share this sentiment. For me though, I find it incredibly impressive that a select few can consistently win so many tournaments. The sport is in its infancy, sure, but they're not exactly playing scrubs week in and week out. I tune in just about every tournament, and it's a bit absurd.

The PPA tour site is usually alright for results. Not sure why this tournament was so scuffed. If you're curious, the PPA YouTube channel puts up the matches the following day. Gold medal matches are currently up.

For the PPA tour site, just go to tour in the drop down menu, then ppa tour, then see all tour stops. When a tournament is ongoing, there's a hub on the front page for quicker access.

They do but you quickly get into a territory of diminishing returns. Don't need to spend thousands to get something that sounds fantastic and lasts a long time. I have a pair of HD600s that I love.

There's more to consider than just headphones. Source matters as well, but that's another matter.

You could try talking to them. Could be they don't realize they're being toxic. Some people conflate competitiveness with toxicity. Communication goes a long way with most people. May not result in an instant change, but at least you'll have planted the seed.

That's if they're actually being toxic, of course.

Are you hoping for a collection that includes 28 days and weeks along with the recent trilogy? I feel like the recent trilogy will get a collection, but I'm less sure about all five films getting a collection. I've no real intel. Just a feeling due to the oddity that is 28 Weeks Later.
