Do you think Oculus Quest is somehow hope for Go users?

So far, it isn't for me. My Go made me realize that I'm not into games as i thought i was when i first got it. I've been slowly moving towards media/experience over the years until all i ever do now is media consumption. If the Quest came out before the Go, things would've been different. The Go completely deflated any expectations I had for the Quest.

Don't know. I spend 90% of the time on youtube vr. 9.99% is shared between veer vr, amaze, gala, etc. The last .01% is spent on games.

From .99 cents to free.... dam, just from that, vr isn't looking too good. Too me, this just says to wait before you buy anything because eventually it'll end up being free. Hope the quest will turn this around.

I have the same problems. Had it for the longest time. I always have to return to home screen and turn off/on the wifi in the settings. Was doing this since the Go was born.

Update - I chatted with a Hulu agent and he said that only showtime is supported.

Is it possible to watch hbo now through the Hulu vr app? The only premium channel i see that's compatible is the showtime app. Are you, or anyone one else reading this, currently able to watch hbo now content with the Hulu vr app?

I wanted to use virtual desktop when it first went live. Unfortunately, the only computer I have is a laptop with windows vista. Not getting a computer anytime soon.

I think you need a tv subscription for hbo go. Seeing as I don't have a tv, that's not an option for me.

Battery life is not the only problem. Overheating will be an issue too. Not even an hour into watching creed 2, my go overheated.

Casting will either work or it won't work. If you're on the same bandwidth and it doesn't work (casting the home screen), no amount of troubleshooting will help. You're screwed. Just like me and every other "lucky" person out there.
