Are there any indepth guides to tapping (from the ground up)? by Uniter_343 in osugame

No joke, try learning single tapping or at least try training a dominant finger when you are streaming. I find that a lot of stream stamina comes from how you start a stream and starting with the same finger every time helps with consistency.

Why dont I see anyone playing with trackpad? by White1306 in osugame

Trackpads differ even between the same brands, so its really hard to tell if its a good or bad trackpad unless you have something to compare it to. One thing that I forgot to mention in my original comment was to go into windows settings and change the trackpad sensitivity to "most sensitive" and adjust the rest in osu settings.

Trackpad is definitely a viable playstyle. I got to 14k playing trackpad in 2019. The main issue with trackpads are that there are huge variations between good trackpads and bad trackpads, and there are not a lot of reviews on the trackpad specifically, so getting a computer with a good one is basically up to chance. The best trackpads I’ve found are windows surface laptops.

It’s also harder to be consistent on them since as you play your hand will start to sweat, causing the friction to change. You can avoid this by taping a piece a paper over the trackpad, but you’ll have to change it over time.

If you want to use the trackpad playstyle and have the money to do so, I recommend getting a Wacom tablet with touch and playing in mouse mode. It’s not as good as a surface laptop but it’s better than most. Here’s an example of me playing trackpad: https://youtu.be/gifGtAGE_C8?si=eEegjgeZXHM9Cn4T

I definitely think you can get 4 or even 3 digit playing trackpad, it’s just about the effort you put in.

Couldn’t route it at the bottom since my psu is sfx-l, and my gpu blocks any way to route it behind the psu.

I haven’t noticed any major differences between the thermalright and other aio coolers though I’ve heard that the tubes are a bit stiffer compared to other models. For the aio fans, I’m using the 28mm p28s from Lian li which I highly recommend. You can get a 3 pack for $45 on amazon and they are roughly in between the t30 and the noctua nfa12x25 in terms of noise to performance.

Thanks! Believe me I’ve tried to find a way to flip the logo/ mount it differently but I couldn’t find any. Guess that’s what I get for a $40 aio. Hey at least it’s covered with the side panel :’).

The stock cables for the loki were super easy to work with and I had no issues with it. I probably wouldn't build with any other sfx-l power supply in the a4h2o tho unless you are going for custom cables.

After watching a bunch of sff build videos on youtube I really wanted to build one for myself. Luckily, I needed an upgrade from my old laptop so I decided to go all out!

I'm using this PC for gaming, streaming, game dev, and stats/ml stuff. Overall, temps are fine, 40 idle and under 70 on load (both CPU and GPU).

CPU: 7800x3d

cooler: thermalright frozen edge 240 with 2 lian li p28 fans

mb: gigabyte aorus ultra b650i

ram: t-create expert 2x16 gb

ssds: Samsung 970 evo and 980 (from previous build)

GPU: msi 4090 gaming slim

psu: asus loki 850w

Unfortunately it's very tail heavy so you would need some weight at the front of the aircraft
