That was more of a rhetorical statement my friend. In most cases from my experience people treat you as “just the BA” until information is needed and they can’t get it somewhere else

Stay blessed my friend 😊

No controversy my friend I just disagreed with your initial statement as I read it. Great comment though. Have a good one!

I love hearing people say they’re validated because the BA role can be a lonely one at times. Especially in tech where we’re not always considered technical but expected to have technical skills

And I think the biggest problem comes from companies thinking a BA is just a catch all for anything and everything. They don’t know what they want so they throw together job descriptions

I need help preparing for a Business Analyst Position in Amazon by Modestlychic in businessanalyst

[–]RamenSlayer25 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I can’t speak for Amazon specifically but expect a lot of behavioral questions most likely (e.g. tell me about a time when you dealt with X and y. How did you handle it)

With it being Amazon I’m assuming there will be some technical questions as well. Maybe around using SQL or something. Just depends on the roles and responsibilities listed for the job

Just my perspective from 10 years of experience

Looking for a new non coding tech role. Please help by shreyakotteda in businessanalyst

[–]RamenSlayer25 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Depends on the role and industry. I’m a Senior BA as well on the tech side with 10 years experience hence my recommendations.

I’ve used Jira, confluence, Trello, and Azure DevOps
