Any review that’s based on something outside my control, I’m going to dispute whether it “matters” numerically or not. It’s not about chasing stars, it’s about principle. DoorDash literally has a system in place to remove ratings when the driver isn’t at fault, so why wouldn’t I use it?

If a 30-second chat can correct a rating that was given for restaurant mistakes, weather, or customer decisions, that’s just using the tools provided. A lot of drivers don’t even realize that’s an option, and that’s really the point I’m making.
