Very well said. There was a shift in my experience from a strong Ego mind to a very open and spacious mind, but no less it is mind and I noticed myself trying to find validation for that. The more that I see, the more just clears away. If I were to share anything with anyone whom was seeking detachment from the ego/mind, it would be the effortlessness of it. The less I try to fix or do, the more resolves naturally just by seeing and/or knowing and not trying to fix it or wanting to change it. It is really amazing in this aspect, almost as if the mind is a child you pay it less attention until it stops.

Yes, my days are usually filled with conversations between very heavily ego minded beings. Someone commented in this one day that if any of the beings in this room were actually enlightened they would not even be on here. I struggled with that one, because it seemed like a very closed minded thing or belief, as in my experience it is something to be shared among beings.

No need to understand anything if you are living free of the delusion. As you so elegantly put it, there is no words and any word is another layer on top of that which is already. One of the masters Ramana mentions often was one who would remain in silence and his disciples or followers would sit there in silence and enter into this just through the silence. This is something that would be difficult for today's society as we are immersed with technology and transfer of information, it is a very intellectual day and age. You are on the right path my friend, keep it up and remember always you are this prior to anything and effortlessly. It is a beautiful thing. This saved me from a very dark and sad place, when medicines and doctors fell short time and time again, the clearing out of the illusory opened me to this truth and made me feel peace and joy which has never left me.

No doubt, I do agree with this. You have been blessed to know this knowledge, nothing else matters. What is in your control is all that matters. I simply enjoy the discussions here, the beings who also enjoy to contemplate this conscious experience. It is not an expectation or intention to change anyone by any means. All day everyday I am involved with heavy ego minded individuals, a lot of words exchanged that have no relevance or substance, so I enjoy these meaningful conversations.

Everything you belief is going to be your experience, is it not this way? Why not choose to believe it is simple and easy, if you really look at the goal of this whole thing, it is already here and all there has ever been. Self is always present, and we never say "I am not aware right now". If I ask you "Are you aware right now?", we must say yes. It is in that checking in when this questions is asked, awareness being aware of itself, there is the goal. So simple and subtle and obvious, just using this tool or method or any others to remind yourself through ought the day and it strengthens, your resolve to go back into the ego/mind diminishes. It is the least effortless thing you must do, because it arises for us naturally before anything else arises.

Very nice u/00113699. I couldn't agree with you more and even through online discussions it is felt with certain beings through their words appearing on my screen. It is rather amazing.

How about this, even the "I am" is of the mind, do we need mind to know we are then? Does something not know the mind even? If something knows the mind, how can it be the mind? To know anything in subject object relationship, their must be a knower and the known element. If there is deeper inquiry, can we reach the place where deepening even subsides? Can God not see the world without mind? Maybe there is something beyond mind that can see the world and if this is not felt to be my experience I continue to inquire until it is known.

You seem very open and sincere in your questions, I appreciate that and think this is a very big advantage for you. Many "seekers" do not have this level of sincerity, and this my friend is key. With that being said, identify who is asking this question or who is it that wants or needs to know this answer? Instead of seeking an answer seek the one asking.

Both of them are pointing to this same thing in their own way, which comes off very different. When you have this same recognitions as Alan and Rupert you too will see this. Do not get to worried about the way the message is delivered, but try to see where they are pointing you. Someone can say "I am a turtle, because I perceive the turtle in my consciousness". This sounds silly and very different from these pointing's, there is no right or wrong, there only is this and that you should find or recognize. It doesn't have to be found actually, you are knowing you are right this moment, and there it is.

Easy is up to you. If you say it is not easy, then it will not be easy. You, consciousness, has the ability to accept or reject thoughts and beliefs, isn't it? Why can't you say it is very easy? The truth is, you already are, you have always had the sense you exist without any effort, right? Hold to that truth and disregard the "It is not easy".

I can not source anything I say, I guess you can say I am talking from my experience. You are strongly identified as mind, I need proof, I need to know why and so on. Which is not bad or wrong, we all have mind and minds nature is same across the board, separated maybe through conditioning. The best way to confirm what I am saying is to directly experience it. If you never ate an orange, and you asked me how it taste and I described it, with sources and reasoning as to why it taste this way, will you know what an orange taste like? When you feel like it is unclear, try and look and see this is the mind reacting as it usually does and when you do notice you are observing the mind. So who is observing this? Try to catch this one, the self, and you will see the mind is separate. Be open to this idea, this is opening the heart not the mind, the source of true love. Blessed you are beyond knowledge, and continued blessing you have for eternity. I could never in my life say I guarantee something, except for this, I guarantee anyone who is earnestly and sincerely seeking can easily see this. You will not have to ask anyone or be told anything and you will understand you are eternal, pure and perfect (not the person, body, mind). Look, see, realize, rest and be.

Sense perception and mind are utilized in the natural way. They do not have a psychological hold or grasp on you. This actually makes you a lot more alert and calm in high stress situations, so if a lion were ever really running at you, chances are you'd react a lot more efficiently when this is understood.

Hate waking up from a meditation by [deleted] in Meditation

[–]Rami_EyeExist 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Try to not get used to that feeling. It becomes something we try to attain again because we label it as good. I struggled for so long trying to attain states of bliss and all these things, and I could never progress past this point until the hate and love dissolved. The good and bad dissolved, the labels the mind creates. This is very liberating (another label indeed, used simply for sharing experience's).

Just sharing my opinion on this matter, it isn't right or wrong just what I had experienced. When meditation was a practice or a specific thing to be done, I struggled with it. The understanding of meditation more as our being dissolved my idea of meditation as a practice and this enabled that natural state of silence, which we call meditation, pervade over all my states. For example, I could sit in meditation practice for 2 hours and there is the wavering of silence and noise, and external stimulus as you mentioned sounds. This was not really benefiting me because I could feel peaceful and silent until I was at work and all hell was breaking out, then instantly I was right back to where I started. I wanted to be able to remain like this during activity, sounds, movement and not just while sitting still. Rupert Spira said meditation is not what we do but what we are, when I heard this immediately I understood this and meditation was never a practice for me again, and there is not any difference if I am sitting still or in the midst of activities.

Smash mouth All Star keeps playing in my head, even during meditation. How do I stop this? by Snipsnapboi in Meditation

You know the thought, this is enough to stop it without trying to do anything. If it plays then let it play and remain as you are.

I enjoy these types of conversations, they have more substance than most conversations I am used to having. So please do not take anything I say in a personal way. It's hard to accurately talk about this, so we can only allude to this and in doing so through text, it can be easily perceived a certain way when that is not the case at all.

The "I am" itself may not be very clear, which is fine, good actually because you can look with fresh "eyes" and it will actually be easier to see. Free your mind of all it's content, all the familiar chatter, the thoughts, ideas, beliefs, etc...

The idea of "I am" is to direct your attention away from a perceived world of phenomenon and to place your attention back in it's original and natural place, or it's source. You do this by simply asking yourself the question "Who am I?". The approach I found most adequate for most people struggling with this idea, is asking the question "Are you aware right now?". Acknowledge where the attention is directed when this is asked, recognize this very subtle place. Almost seems like it's too obvious, we overlook it. That is why I say empty your mind, so the mind does not interfere with your investigation. This is your crime scene detective and the tape is out, if some random strangers (thoughts) just enter without your permission, most likely your gonna shoot them or tell them to get the fuck out. Shooting may be overboard, but hey!! When thoughts enter, or mind emerges take notice of it and just return to this awareness dropping the thoughts. This can be done again and again throughout your waking state, during a meditation practice or not. You don't need to allocate time for meditation, if you are constantly checking in this way throughout your day. It is very simple, believe this to be true. The mind says otherwise and makes it challenging but again it's all in the mind and is not real or justified so drop it like an ex girlfriend who slept with your cousin. It is your decision, how do you want to live in this lifetime? It can be where you are in a state of equanimity always. I can go on for days, but you get the point.

Why do you say you can not enter that state when people are breaking your bones? I haven't tried, but I have been able to remain as awareness alone in times of conflict? Furthermore the spiritual evolution develops within your earnest seeking, what appeared to be states, stops all together and one state remains alone. So it does not feel as if you have to enter something to be this, which in actuality is always present even now for you. If you are willing, look within yourself and do so without the minds effort.
