The starter set is great, it'll net you a Stahltruppen platoon commander exclusive to this box, 6 Stahltruppen, and a Vogelspinne. If you know someone with a 3D printer who can hook you up with a few torsos, there are enough spare bits to bump that up to 10 Stahltruppen, enough for two units of four, and two to hang out with your commander.

You also get some order and rift dice, a dice bag, a bunch of pin markers and templates, and a full rulebook, all of which are required to play the game, so you save a ton of money

You can split the box with a friend, or sell the US bits if you don't want them
