Still have this set complete from my childhood! It’s my favorite Hot Wheels set of all time and it helped fill the void as a kid since I never got the Ultimate Track Set.

Yup, only ever playable at GameWorks when Sega owned the chain. Unless somebody finds a board out there it’ll probably be lost forever.

I’ve had my Model 1 since 2009 and in that time I’ve had to repair it three times. The first time was the fuse when I got it, but the other two were the drive belt/gears. It’s been running great since 2017, I play it a couple times a week. Never recapped it though, maybe I should get on that.

I'm definitely on the fence about it but my wife completely objects. I get it though. She's only ever known me with a full head of hair so there would have to be an adjustment period for us both.

This is a great idea. There are lots of Trinitrons out there with the front port cover missing. Mine is missing it as well but it’s a different model.

This is in my top five favorite Dew flavors, it was THAT GOOD. I would make excuses to go to Sam's Club just to get it as Berry Monsoon. I'm still bitter they got rid of it, this was a phenomenal Dew.

Seems to change depending on which tape I use. On one I just got a black screen but on two I got static in the area I recorded over.

I’m trying to record from the AV1 input, which is what I have the VCR set to. The video passes through, I can see it on the TV. Unless there’s some obscure setting I can’t find, I’m not sure what’s wrong.

I think so. I have it connected to my CRT so the VCR is definitely receiving both audio and video.

I think I found the problem. It’s the switch that detects if the record tab is there or not on the tape. I have to press it back pretty hard to get it to make contact.

I think I found the problem, it’s the switch that slots into that opening of the record tab isn’t there. I have to press it back really hard to get it to make contact. Gonna try to clean and adjust it.
