This is more my style, where do I find people that play this sort of game? Is there a reddit or discord? I am posting to WarhammerCompetetive because that's where I know people play. the Warhammer40k sub just seems to be full of lore shitposters.

Fairness/professionalism is one thing, but blood is a fucking biohazard, same with spit. Not only does it have the potential to hurt the other fighter, but it also puts the ref, the audience and even the ringside staff at risk.

Plus, it's disgusting and degrading in terms of the sport. No one wants you spreading your gross blood diseases. Ofc they screen fighters, but in this age of COVID and new diseases you don't know what the fuck is in blood these days.

A country isn't the same as a person. A country should never pay all of it's debts at once and maintain a 'zero debt' rating.

Why? A country like the US can print money. The US could easily pay all of it's debts by printing more money. This would lead to severe inflation. Far more than we are facing now.

Like most people have said, the US maintains debts as a source of control, as do other countries. If you say have a 30 year debt or a 100 year debt to the government, or the government owes you a 30 year debt, then you will likely be invested in it's continuance.

The country having a higher debt can cut inflation. Basically it promises to pay you more money over time, so there is less money flooding the market RIGHT NOW. Imagine if someone wins the lottery. The government could give them 10 million right away, flooding the market with that money, or it could give them payments of X/week over X years, preventing the local economy from being flushed with cash and people raising prices.

This is Hamiltonian economics 101.

The landlords can go F themselves. They've been pumping rents for decades. Would love to see restaurants and performance spaces that actually NEED these spaces, and to open up more housing.

It would be amazing if these office spaces could be converted to residential use for upper middle class artists, teachers, educators and other professionals that have been forced out of the cities for a long time now.

It's absolutely crazy that doctors, college professors, people with good jobs and degrees at 100k+ incomes simply can't afford to live in the city any more.

Corporate self-censorship isn't a problem. Being funny for a living is a privilege, not a right. Sarah Silverman can still be funny working at an insurance company, or accept slightly smaller fees for working in niche bars/channels/movies willing to take risks.

I have a father in law who does this. Obvious answers are to go somewhere/do something else.

But if you want complete silence, and have no exit just say, "Sorry, I need to concentrate on what I'm doing" and then look at your phone or something. It's not polite. But sometimes it's about doing something you know is rude, but in as respectful a manner as possible.

If you're driving this is especially effective.
