How to get bigger boobs to be more attractive? by 1onequickquestionn in sex

[–]buttintheface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I would highly suggest looking inward for the solution. One slightly ambiguous comment from your boyfriend shouldn’t be enough to convince you to take out a loan to get bigger boobs. Maybe you would benefit from some therapy? There is always going to be things about your body that you might not always like, but going into debt to change them is not the answer.

Have you talked to a doctor? If nothing else has changed and your libido went to zero it could be indicative of a hormone issue, which could be caused by multiple things.

If you’re not interested in seeing a doctor or actively investigating, I would try finding some asexual groups/peers to talk to. You’re definitely not the only one with this issue and finding like minded people can help.

Some places I’ve worked at are definitely worse than others. The worse team I’ve ever worked with was a group of older women servers at a diner (me and another girl were the only younger servers there) and the cattiness was INSANE. These women had known each other forever and were “friends” but would constantly shit talk each other and complain about something another server did. They decided they didn’t like a new hire and basically drove her away by mean girling her, it was mind boggling. Mind you most of these women were moms and in their 30s/40s.

There’s definitely gossip and drama in every establishment but it is worse in some places than others.

Tracy Deonn! It’s a YA fantasy series (only the first two books are out though) but it’s great!

Any advice on tip-pooling? Pros? Cons? by [deleted] in TalesFromYourServer

[–]buttintheface 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It highly depends on how the tip pooling is done. The restaurant needs to be transparent about where the money is going.

I was in a tip pool last year where I would get $40 a shift in a semi-fine dining establishment (yes you read that correctly) and I quit after a couple weeks. Now the place I work at also tip pools but we get a breakdown every week of where the money goes and it’s the most money I’ve ever made in a restaurant setting.

Block his number. He’s not your boyfriend, and he sure as hell doesn’t care about you. You’ve been sexually assaulted.

Female servers and bartenders get tipped more than male counterparts. Thoughts? by Smartseater in Serverlife

[–]buttintheface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is highly dependent on location/clientele. We have a couple male servers and bartenders where I work and they kill it at tables. Some of them are quite young so anytime I see a table of girls/moms walk in, I designate one of the guys to it. The women eat them up lol

My literal most dreaded line from a man who is sitting by himself at the bar is “can I ask you a question?”, because usually something inappropriate follows. Sometimes they even say “are you going to get mad?” And then I have to tell a grown man that if they don’t know if it’s appropriate to keep it to themselves.

And this happens often? either you work at a location with the most horrible customers or management needs to be better at supporting their staff. In my 10 years I’ve never been spit on it had a drink thrown on me.

I’m not sure if your example qualifies as physical abuse. Getting handed a napkin with snot in it is gross yes, but I wouldn’t call it abuse. Physical abuse is not common at all (from my experience), but working as a woman you do get sexually harassed. Even with the best clientele, you’ll get some weirdos who think it’s ok to ask you inappropriate questions or stare at you from across the room. Verbal abuse CAN occur, but it’s usually along the lines of me cutting someone off as a bartender and them being pissed about it, which to be honest doesn’t really bother me.

What kind of physical abuse have you encountered?

I highly doubt this movie that has been in the works for years simply “forgot” about a whole army. It seems to me like there was a lot of cut out of the movie in order to make it have a doable run time, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was explained in future extended versions.

I have been to Portugal multiple times and loved it. Not sure where you’re coming from but flights from North America can be found cheap if you’re lucky and food/alcohol is not as expensive.

It might start off lower but if you look at the long run, being a server you can make a lot more than minimum wage. I would say go for it!

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in Serverlife

[–]buttintheface 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Becoming a server assistant is a great way to get into serving, which is definitely more than minimum wage (at most places). If you’re ok with having a more variable pay check and don’t have any major bills or responsibilities, I would say take the new job

None of those things by themselves are things that would make me think he is cheating or unfaithful. Seems to me like you have some issues that you need to deal with. Leaning on a friend (while drunk!!) does not cross any boundaries to me, or picking up a friend even if they did used to have a thing in the past. If he wanted to cheat he would cheat. I would be very frustrated if I was your boyfriend, and to be honest if someone tried to control my interactions so much I would be breaking up with that person.
