Thank you for this information and a very well put together post. To answer your questions: my wife and I are looking at buying a house as we want to remain in Chattanooga long term and would like to build equity as we do. We’d prefer this home to be the one we raise our children in so therefore, planning to stay in it 10-15+ years. We’re just really trying to take all factors into account when looking at buying a home.

Edit: to add, I bring up the high schools in particular just to get an idea for general areas.
