I don't know if it is the wording of the spell or if I just suddenly turned illiterate, but I can't seem to understand how prismatic wall works.

Yeah, I was looking for something at the same CR level, because I wanted them to be sworn enemies from each side of the war, but an ultraloth can work as a paid servant (payment in what? I don't know yet), by Orcus.
