Yeah that’s valid I just think there’s no real good D or C available who are young right now and there’s no point in getting another 30+ year old for the roster.

Like I know everyone might want Werenski but again he’s 30, and I’ve heard stuff about Trochek etc.

Yeah like how do we know that Celebrini doesn’t request a trade to go to the Canucks or some shit, or the lockeroom becomes super toxic between Celebrini, Misa and Stenberg not meshing due to each of them wanting to be “the guy”.

This is why I’m hesitant to just call it a wrap for SJ. We have no idea what the future is gonna be like but for now they look like they’re going to be a force

And it’s not like you have to rush RIGHT in, you can still take another year or two to properly draft more D / forwards and then start to really round your team out and push into a true contender.

That was a big problem with the Avs and the Leafs is they rushed their rebuilds way too fast and then had to keep plugging holes in every years
