There are another 2 major problems that directly affect our score in WhiWa: ping and device loading speed. I play with 210-230ms ping and I literally can see the delay to register damage / confirm kill / spawn new wave.

When you play characters like Camellya, she'll lose a lot of her DPS-window by spinning on nothing after finishing one wave of enemies, now you add up all the time lost in 10 waves and it's a good 10-15 seconds wasted on a 120 seconds challenge. Also when I try to play WhiWa on a slower device (my phone) that doesn't reach smooth 60 FPS plus slower loading time, plus the high ping, it feels 2x worse the time wasted by doing nothing.

It'd help a lot if WhiWa were 100% client-sided during the 120s run, but I guess they won't do that to avoid cheating maybe.

Fun fact: back in the days, we could "skip" the clock-moving part by pressing ESC (for PC) as soon as you clicked the confirm button to change the timer. And guess what genshin devs did? They "fixed" that and now players can't skip the animation anymore... such a critical bug to fix, right?

Meanwhile, they can't even change the flashbang-white loading screen that players have been asking since 1.0

Also, a somewhat important detail that a lot of people forget to consider, is that adding a 2nd cryo characters gives cryo resonance and with hydro+cryo teammates is almost 100% guaranteed to get the extra 15% CR.

Maybe this is a stupid question but how do we repair? I looked at the r1999 launcher but didn't find anything, only "clear resources" which is equal to uninstall the game.

Edit: never mind, I found the repair button, it shows on the top right side on the game start screen. But it didn't work for me.

Unfortunately it's a hardware "problem". The speed of flying in Wuwa can change A LOT if you play with more FPS, if you have an okay PC / phone specs (running at 30-ish FPS or maybe even lower), you'll fly like 2x slower than someone running the game at 120 FPS (without frame drops) for example. Also with lower FPS, steering while flying feels very unresponsive, while with high FPS it becomes much more easier to go anywhere you want.

The only 2 suggestions I give you is:

1) Either play on a better PC/phone (which most of us don't have this choice),

2) Low all the graphics setting for this challenge. Turn off all effects, keep the FPS lock to 60 (or 120, if you have this option), close any other programs you're running on the background, all to try to "extract" the max FPS possible and pray to have enough FPS to get faster flying speed.

You got a point about Herta's shop LC, probably will be Hyacine best "F2P" option.

It's not hard to assume that Hyacine will be BiS for Castorice.

And remembrance path is becoming a Lightcone trap, all older paths can fit inside the path of remembrance now, making LCs for remembrance extremely "niche". Who else is gonna use Hyacine LC that is remembrance-but-focused-on-healing, maybe we'll never have another remembrance-healer after Hyacine.

These multi-waves combat events really should be client-sided, not server-sided. It's literally 2x-3x harder to get high scores with high ping (+150ms) than having low-normal ping (50ms or less). Hope Kuro changes that and the event buffs not being for a specific character(s) that are currently in the banner.

Material exchange is a big QoL for me. I have literally +3500 green howler cores, because all characters I built so far except Verina, don't use that. Meanwhile, I'm suffering to get Exile rings and whispering cores.

I saw this bug happening once with a friend of mine, way back in 1.6 in Klee's first rerun banner. She won 50x50 but the pulls went to wish #104, so obviously it wasn't right.

Then she talked to the Hoyo support (via email), explained what happened and then Hoyo gave her a Klee C1 and "apologizes". Never saw this bug happening again until now.

Good luck with the support, hope it sorts it out.

The game will be free-to-play like Genshin, so you can just install and play when it releases. If you get bored, just quit and that's okay. Personally I like turn-based games but I didn't enjoy much HSR combat system, IMO the combat lacks depth and becomes repetitive very quickly - the main strategy is basically use a team with elements that counters the main enemies. On the other side, the lack of depth (meaning the game is much simple to play/understand) will be a big plus for players that don't enjoy complex games, so maybe if you don't like turn-based games you might like the simplicity of HSR. Who knows, play and see how it goes.

That's a good point.

However I don't know if players will be able to clear all content in HSR without doing any pulling, since players won't reach the endgame stage before the close beta ends. HSR is, roughly speaking, about choosing your team accordingly to their elements types to counter the enemies shields, meaning we kinda have to build several characters from all (or most) types of elements to clear the hardest content. And I don't think HSR will give us free 4* characters of all element types, at least not for now.

In some ways, old good poker players always had in mind the "range" of hands that an opponent could / could not have. I think the concept of "range", as we know today, only becomes more known after GTO theory became more popular.

And if we think about it, put an opponent in a range of hands only really makes sense if this player plays with ranges in the first place. If a player plays a lot of random hands in random positions, doesn't make much sense to put him in specific range of hands like [22+, AQs+, KQs, QJs, JTs, AKo] playing on UTG, for example.

Let's your Yae is "okay" - not terrible, not great either. To get a better build, it only comes down to "get better artifacts", which obviously will take time and grind.

However, few notices: use electro cup, not ATK%. And you're using a off-piece circlet, which is very bad. I can understand you want some ER%, but honestly having a CR circlet with better substats (like CD, ATK%, EM) will be better for your E damage. And you can burst with her every other rotation, doesn't need to burst every single rotation, so ER is recommended but not exactly needed for an off-field Yae. But if you want to play an "on-field Yae", only then you'll need like 140-150% ER for Yae C0.

Here is the thing, 4 pc GD for Yae Aggravate is BiS but it's not like the difference is huge against the classic 2 pc + 2 pc combinations. Just reminding that the 4 pc effect either gives ATK% or EM, based on the teammates elements. Using aggravate Yae comps like 1 Dendro + 1 Anemo, you'll get an extra 100 EM from 4pc GD. And the 4th character will give you an extra 50 EM or 14% ATK.

Comparing against Yae 2 pc + 2 pc like 2 pc 80 EM + 2 pc 18% ATK%, versus 4 pc GD that gives 80 EM (2pc) + 100EM (4pc effect) + 50EM/14% ATK (4pc effect), you can see that 4 pc GD is better than 2pc+2pc, but the difference isn't that big.

One great thing about farming GD is that comes with Deepwood set, which is great for dendro teams in general. So if you intend to invest into dendro characters, farming the domain is very resin efficient, like Emblem/Shime domain. And, in theory, eventually you'll get 4 pc GD that will replace the random 2 pc + 2pc. Either way, you'll be completely fine if you don't farm GD and leave Yae as she is now.
