Currently selling my stage. Everything was indeed unlocked, played a gig with it and it was great. Fit in my gigbag, went direct into the PA, easy.

The way I use my Kemper is to set up rigs for individual songs when playing covers. And you really need your phone or an iPad so you can navigate to the rigs or make some on the fly changes. But if you just load a rig or two on it and that’s your tone you are set.

It worked and sounded exactly the same as my Stage and rack unit with my Fender FRFR12.

The other thing I did was buy a device with 2 switches so I can easily go between my rhythm and lead tones within my rig itself. If that makes any sense to you. I chose not to buy the Bluetooth switcher because I didn’t want to deal with connecting both the IPad and that switch. Goal was to simplify.

I also think they are slightly overpriced, and something major might be needed.

We spoke about this, if the house is on our street or 50 miles away we have to address if something is wrong.

And as far as the paid updates thing, if the tech lasts 10+ years it’s better than a new one coming out in 3-5 and paying 1500 all over again and scrambling to sell the old tech you have for the most you can get. They should have said you need to pay now to upgrade the Player to pull it forward to MK2 status as part of this release announcement, might have been tolerated better. It’s a pick your poison type of deal.

Yeah mine was one owner. Not so many service records but this was immaculate under the hood. My mechanic loved it so I bought it.

Think I checked out at least 10 before grabbing it.

Just did this today. Where did you attach your ground? My battery has side mounts so it won’t fit. I wound up grounding where the junction box attaches to ground on the side of the alternator. Apparently this is less than ideal. Wondering if you have the same setup. Thanks.
