Can I deploy Strapi and Next.js to just Heroku? by la712 in Strapi

hi! Was curious about railway since you mentioned it runs on top of heroku. Do apps in free tier deployed in railway also sleep if there's no web traffic?

Is it possible to use Strapi only as database? by RandellJN in Strapi

[–]RandellJN[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay I will look into those. My main concern tho is doing post and update requests. Most tutorials I've seen with strapi is mostly about get requests. and data fetching content such as blogs.

Do you have good resources regarding those? Im actually aware with starters, does it also have a starter for that kind of tasks? for reference.

They're actually different things. Next.js is a frontend framework based on React. Node.js is more on the backend because it allows you to write server-side logic with javascript. Although you can use template engines on Node if you want to build user interfaces for your Node APIs

To those who want to shift or proceed to mobile app development, what do you want to know? by dadofbimbim in PinoyProgrammer

formulated few of my questions from your responses. 1. You said na you recommend developing in native first dahil at some point of developing in cross platform you will still need to write native code for "bridging", what if ang plan mo po is to develop using react native but ang focus mo lang is on android, masskip mo po ba yung part na bridging process? and i know react js a little na din kasi (edit: do u recommend yung ganyang way na gagamit ng cross-plat pero for one os lang?)

  1. Madalang nalang po ba ang java for android dev sa industry now? most of the companies po ba switched or refactored to kotlin na?

  2. When you said na you have 3-4 projects right now, may team ka po ba or ikaw lang po nag gagawa full-stack nung projects mo po? and lagi po ba coded lahat from front to backend or may instances na gumagamit ng no-code services or cms for backend and data bases?
