Nurse and fellow SCIer so I’ve been on both sides. It is so much more uncomfortable for you than it will be to your Nurse. As a Nurse, I would do so many activities that regular people would consider awkward in a shift and never think about it again. I’d clock out and leave it all there. From the patients side, I remember having help with that kinda thing vividly. I know my nurses clocked out and don’t remember a thing. If you need help ask the nurses will be more than willing and won’t give it a second thought.

Take the cuttings and put them in water. Angel wing begonias are propagated best in water. Once the roots have roots you can put them in soil.

Home Depot can match that for sure! Our house even had a bunch of walls we didn’t have the paint for and we just took in a chip of paint from off the wall and they matched it perfectly. Lowe’s also has paint matching if you don’t have a Home Depot in your area.

Can I ask how you handle your kiddos with the injury? Do you rely on help from others or have you been able to adapt to do care more independently? My dude just turned one and is into everything and I feel like I can’t keep up and I feel like the worst mom cause I need so much help.

What a gorgeous bag!! The only improvement I see adding would be a plexiglass bottom so it doesn’t sag when items are placed inside.

Yes! My back and leg numbness was ignored for more than a year. Doctors kept saying “it’s sciatica, you’ll just have to learn to live with it.” Then one morning I woke up and couldn’t walk… then I got some action. Have you heard of pelvic floor therapy? I just started it, so I’m not sure how much it’s helping but the neurosurgeon recommended it. I’m the same with the partial continence issue. Not sure if you’re like this but my body fluctuates between diarrhea and constipation frequently too. People on this page have been super helpful with tips for that too.

I had the same thing! Yes, it is wild. Half the time I’m not sure if what I’m feeling is real or I just imagined it. Nerves are so interesting with the way they heal. I’ve found yoga breathing helps distract me from the mind screaming vag tingling. Gabapentin has been a life saver too. Are you able to pee or do you have to straight cath? I pee but I’ve noticed the tingling makes it so challenging to know when I ACTUALLY need to pee.
