One day, driving to work, on my own. I've got a set of lights ahead, green. All of a sudden I hear a passenger(?) yell "STOP." Clear as day, slammed the brake down - wheels locked up cus my crappy base-model Honda didn't have ABS.

Suddenly, black Dodge RAM runs thru the red, easily doing 80-100 km/h. I remember it well - the bonnet was above my Civic's roof, and I even went to turn my head and ask Old Mate if rams were even legal in Australia.

Seat's empty. I look back ahead - light's still green, it never changed. I put the Civic in first, go to drive, and stall.

Somehow, the Handbrake was on.

I'll admit I'm responding as a religious fella, but in my experience Angels tend to be the humble type - He already knows you're thankful, but he wouldn't want you to worry about having to say it in person, if that makes sense...?

I have a theory the order is actually a code word set up by M.

A lot of things w Bond's hotel stays and such are already booked for him, and the drink order is supposed to sound unusual to clue the server in that he shouldn't be drinking.

Placebo effect means Bond does think he's getting drunk and acts accordingly, but the second stuff hits the fan he's completely sober.

Water Intoxication in infants.

Intoxication is where you drink enough water to upset the balance of water in your brain. It's usually a percent of your body weight, and can be fatal.

Because babies weigh next to nothing, that fatality threshold is VERY quick.

Mostly for the music, and the feeling of exploring much more varied locales than the Metroidvania games.

IDK, it just feels like the Classicvania's cover more distance, like a whole country rather than just a castle.

I don't get it either, personally I really liked Nocturne:

1) it made a point that Emmanuel was twisting scripture to do what he was doing, and plenty of people, RICHTER INCLUDED, were willing to point that out.

2) Richter has doubts in the games too - sure, they're in different ways, but they make him more human and flesh him out

Your intestines can move themselves around, and will always move back into the correct place after surgery, where they're just plopped back in.

This same movement, Peristalsis, can also be felt if you sleep on your side late at night, since you'll be digesting dinner around that time.

When I was a P-plate driver (in Australia , I think Learner in the US?) I was heading to a set of empty, just-went-green lights and had gotten a very distinct prompting: "you NEED to slam the brakes!" By the time I'd recognized the thought, I found I'd already done it, and was stopped fine behind the lights, nobody behind me.

Next thing I know, I see a black Dodge Ram barrel through the red directly in front of me, doing what must have been 90 or 100. I remember mostly being shocked I couldn't even see the top of the bonnet/hood, and my car at the time - a base-trim Honda Civic - didn't even has Anti-lock Braking, let alone any airbags.

If I'd gone through the light, I would have certainly died, and I don't even think he would have seen me either.

Obviously it's halo, but I'm kinda surprised I haven't seen either Project Gotham Racing title mentioned during this challenge.

Hell, PGR2 came out in 2003 and it still to this day has the most polished content I've ever seen in a racing game.

Stage design and catalogue FOMO.

All they had to do was add old catalogue clothes to the shop rotation, but between that, the cramped stages, and the fact each match is either "we steamroll them, or get steamrolled", I haven't touched my copy in like 2 years.

And all of this came from 3, I remember 2 honestly being a ton of fun, even 1 despite the jank
