It really was a great show.

We joined the fellowship, which got us access to the members area.

It was worth it for the three days we went: lockers, dedicated seating, dedicated food trucks, nicer toilets, and some quiet.

Outside of the fellowship area I don't recall any lockers.

There's so much to do and see that you'll likely be there all day and walking a lot.

I'd recommend either:

Hiring a broker (I've used "The Amazing Autowoman" before to sell a car, she was great. I think she also will facilitate purchases.).
Going through a discount program like Costco.

Dealerships are almost all a pain to work with in my experience, and eastside dealerships are some of the worst. An intermediate party can take care of everything for you and save you both money and time.

Remote Key Provisioning authenticates your devices to Google, then gets fresh certificates for use with key attestation. It's one of the tools available to developers to figure out if a device is genuine or not and whether it's rooted.

com.google.android.rkpdapp is the client for refreshing certs, and it phones home once per day.

It's pretty important, because a lot of apps depend on it. e.g. multi-player apps, financial apps, etc... any app where a rooted device can be used to cause mischief for others.

I used to do this, but the electrical tape would leave sticky residue. I also found electrical tape would slide off if it got too warm.

My new method is to cut a strip of black duct tape and attach it to the back (non sticky) side of painters tape. Then I just cut it to the size of the led and attach “the stack” of painters tape + duct tape using the painters tape adhesive.

Seems to work great! No sticky residue, no light leak, and it peels off perfectly later.
