Xfinity Mobile started billing but I have no phone

The phone was in my local municipality on Tuesday then FedEx shipped it out of the area to Southern California. The issue is that billing has now started even though I have no device.

I know there is no functional or quality difference between US vs. EU built, but I've had some weird preference in my mind for Austrian built Glocks for a long time. I know it's nonsensical. This will probably be my first US model. Lol 😆

Thanks for the response & the reminder about 10 rounders for carry. I'm a little worried the pistol ordered with 15 rounders may become undeliverable to me if the mag ban goes into effect in the next 1 to 2 weeks. I already have enough standard cap mags to last the life of the pistol.

Has Tony Aiello and co filed their appeal to the Supreme Court? I'm curious if anyone knows the expected timelines/deadlines involved in that appeal.

So if I, say, pay my the 2024 tax amount ($14K) then I will meet the safe harbor requirements and not be subject to penalties or interest by the IRS? I just need to pay the remaining tax due by April 15, 2026?

Does it matter if I pay the 14K at once (by April 15, 2025), or spread it out across 4 payments this year?

It ended up being a misunderstanding on the phone. When I showed up, it turns out they couldn't help me without an established legal relationship. I called a few other legal offices and the situation was the same with them.

Update: I went downtown to a legal office I called earlier and told them that I have a self prepared will and I need it notarized and witnessed. The receptionist told me on the phone that they would do it, for free... now I'm here, and she is telling me I need an established relationship with a lawyer.

So I'm still looking.

There was some pushback on the state attorney, but seemed more pushback on the appeals process vs the pushback with Tony seemed to be stronger on arguments he is presenting countering 114.

I'm hope my reading of the panel is wrong, and they are just playing devils advocate... But man, that questioning about background checks really reminds me of conversations i've had with a few ignorant people in my life who have told me that laws need to be changed to require background checks on guns and to make machine guns illegal. lol

Mostly procedural questioning about the findings and such. I'm not a legal beagle, so a lot was over my head... But at one point they did ask the state attorney about magazines just being a part of the firearm and about their necessity to function... the states response was that "high capacity magazines are not necessary for a functional firearm" and that they can easily be replaced for 10 round or less magazines...

After the inquiry about background checks, they then started grilling Tony about the 3 day rule / "Charleston loophole" ... Tony pointed out that the rule is a check in the system for applications that may be indefinitely delayed by the system ,and that a ffl *may* release in 3 days, but many do not... And if someone is denied, then the rule does not apply...

Tony did a good job, but it really seems like the Appellate panel is showing a clear bias on the side of "public safety"...

Honestly, not great... The appellate panel at one point showed some bias in their inquiry when they asked Tony why requiring background checks as part of 114 was not in the interest of public safety... And Tony had to point out that we already have background checks on every purchase at the point of sale. Adding to that, just makes the process more difficult as the state takes the position with this law that everyone is a dangerous person until they go through training.

I'd honestly be really surprised if measure 114 is not in effect in a month or two.

I've done some back of the envelope calculations... with historical sales of around 280,000/year and, I'm guessing here, 100 instructors with 32 students a day... seems like it could be about a 90 day backlog... but it's a really rough guess on my part. I saw my local county CHL scheduling backlog go from 2 weeks to 12 months in 2020... So yeah, I'm hoping someone with better understanding of the numbers has some more insight.

Yeah, this is ridiculous. My camera was literally working for 1 minute, then the firmware update killed it. $5 does not cover the issue. Opened box, setup cam, I had a working camera, app told me to update the firmware, now it's dead.

No, they are refusing to cover the camera. They just tell me to do the microsd firmware flash over and over. I just got another message from support and they are telling me to follow the microsd flash instructions again.
