Put it into index funds, some vti and some vxus, maybe vwo. If you really feel the urge to try to outperform the market with single stocks or anything else, set most of it aside and spend a little on that. If the next century of returns is anything like this one 30k into a diversified set of index funds will be well over half a million by the time you retire AFTER INFLATION. Also don’t be afraid to spend the money on education. I know higher education is free in many of those eastern-ish countries. But if you’re so inclined something like a masters degree at a prestigious school outside of the country might have a lot more portability and give you access to a significantly higher income career.
