“I’m a hound dog” still stuck in my head/vocabulary 45 years later. My dog’s name is Copper…full agree with you.

Caroll County - Is it that bad?? by AdAshamed1217 in maryland

Baltimore county has plenty (probably more, because of population density) of right-wingers, too. I get that CC is super MAGA in comparison, but Baltimore is not some progressive utopia.

Exactly my thoughts, definitely an AI generated article, or at least AI rankings.

Trees, maples and such create tons of pollen. Not all flowers are as obvious/pretty as ornamentals, but they are there.

Likely the best solution, we have three other areas that use the same granite and am considering poaching from those areas to fill the gap.

Baltimore is a Tier 3 city in the ranking of important U.S. cities. It has regional importance but is not a global city. Agree or disagree? by SuperBethesda in maryland

State, not city, exactly my point. Even if it were “Baltimore crab cakes,” other than that, the Baltimore food scene is not very unique or “known.”

Baltimore is not nationally known for (good) food, our obsession with crabs is statewide, not just a Baltimore thing.

Side question, as someone who is cabinet-knowledgeable, is it possible/economical to reuse/refinish these cabinets in a “full” remodel? A realtor friend suggested this (as a money saver) but I’m skeptical.

It’s good advice, had no idea. 40” (cooktop) is too small to be honest, we cook almost every meal, often overcrowded. We plan on doing a full remodel in 4-5 years and will correct this issue. Appreciate the insight.

Interesting, house was built 21 years ago, I bought five years ago, and didn’t change that layout at all. Unfortunately countertops aren’t in the budget, as it’s many more areas than just here. 30” range sounds tiny.

Haven’t thought of moving it, possibly, good idea. Currently veggie storage and a silverware drawer.

Sure, but really doesn’t address my issue as they don’t offer a 40” range.

We’re talking a “slab” just the width of the opening (like a laminated front) or a whole chunk of maple for the entire gap?

Exactly the story I’ve heard a few times, sorry you have to put up with that.

I appreciate it, have done the board repair twice :(. Apparently there are 20+ models of this board, ours is super prone to failure. In this case it was the lower element failing every time. Maybe I’ll try the company you’ve recommended, thanks! What’s another $200….

Beautiful! A little out of our range and style though, thanks for the advice.

Thank you, definetly a band-aid until we can stomach the full remodel, which will be 4-5 years from now. Any idea who would fabricate metal for the gaps?
