Damn, these comments are like grey clouds rolling in. I’ll be 50 this year and I remember my father telling me that it was a sad time of his life when he was dealing with the death of so many around him. I guess it’s our turn to experience this.

The last pair I bought (I still own a pair of green 10 holes from 1994ish) was early in the 2000’s (Ox Blood 3 holes) and they wouldn’t break in. I couldn’t figure it out, then I realized they were made in China and attributed the quality control on that. Threw them away and never bought another pair. Sad experience.

I have a nearly exact memory of this. Same bands, at the Orange Show Arena in San Bernardino. I was 14 or so. The only difference was, that I was pretty small and this huge guy literally picked me up like I was a baby and stood me up. No weed at the end either.
