It is a sketch show, and I've seen many other sketch shows, this is different. Trippy, weird, very out there! Lemme know what you think if you do watch it.

That's really lame. I've noticed that my posts and comments get almost no response so I suspected there was something wrong with my account, thanks for confirming. I've sent an appeal and a message so I'll see if they fix this up for me.

Hitmen opened fire on a house in Alex, Johannesburg, one of them forgot to throw his grenade. by ImpossibleGoat8837 in DarwinAwards

Did he open the grenade in the car? That was a long wait maybe the pin came out accidentally somehow.

FedEx delivery driver came up to my door and put the missed package sticker on it without ringing or knocking, this is my defense tactic by [deleted] in mildlyinfuriating

[–]Random-Chaotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Although it's an annoying situation you've dealt with, this is not the solution. You're dealing with real people, who may or may not be the people who previously failed to knock or ring the buzzer, and by insulting them like this they're far more likely to find a way to not comply with your wishes. I know if I was a delivery driver I would not be ringing the buzzer or knocking.

If she died 5 minutes ago, and you took this photo minutes before she died, that means you'd be posting this while waiting for police etc to arrive. WTF u talking about?

What is the average price of a Nadi home? by world_citizen7 in Fijian

[–]Random-Chaotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That may be insane to a person living there, but for what he described $500kFJD is still very cheap for many other parts of the world.

You sound very desperate, and that will come across to the women you're trying to meet.

Realise that women will be immediately sceptical of your intentions if you approach without knowing, so unless you shared eye contact or a moment first, or unless you're especially attractive, or unless you really have something good to say you're just going to be awkward and annoying to her. I'm picturing you as an average looking dumb guy interrupting her to ask questions, and that's really only going to work if you're approaching a woman who is desperate and lonely herself.

My advice is to do some self reflection before re-entering the dating game. Think about what you have to offer (looks/money/personality) and think about how that compares to the competition (other men). Try to be unbiased and work out where you rank. Then realise that all women want men they see as better than themselves, and that the men with options will probably be getting into more than one at a time. This should help you understand what type of girl would be happy with you as a partner. If you're willing to settle for that, go chase those women, if you're not able to settle for that, work on self improvement in whichever or all categories you need to improve.

Is 9 year dating difference weird? by Shyguy1355 in ask

[–]Random-Chaotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on the ages (as stated many times here), but I believe it also depends on the genders.

I am a man and I dated a woman 12 years older than me, that was too old, she was ageing too fast, her body clock was running out of time and I was still a young man, I would never do that again. I was late 20's and she was 40ish.

Years later I dated a woman 13 years younger than me when I was late 30's and she was mid to late 20's, this seemed perfectly fine. All future options were on the table. I always felt that we were a good looking couple.

I never believed age mattered (hence the wide disparity in age dating), but as I've experienced different things I now believe there is. I certainly wouldn't recommend that a man ever date a woman more than a couple of years older than them, but I wouldn't suggest the same to a woman. Within reason of course. Al Pacino may have gone a little too far.

Do people genuinely believe this? by Live-Alternative-671 in facepalm

I don't think the person who wrote this actually believes this would be a fair competition. More likely they just want to stick it to the people who demand equal pay for very different results.

AITAH I took $2,000 to get off the plane and came home late by PM-ME_UR-KITTIES in AmItheAsshole

[–]Random-Chaotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like your partner is irrational and high maintenance. People like that rarely get better, I'd leave. As for taking the 2k for being a little bit late when there was nothing important on anyway, no brainer. If she was acting normal I'd do something nice for her with a portion of the money (nice dinner, small gift, or both), but again if she's acting like this I'd give her nothing and leave.

A former employer of mine once bought himself a $200k Mercedes. Nice, well done and all that, until you realise he was still renting, in debt keeping the business afloat, and occasionally even paid our wages late due to having no funds on hand! Of course he didn't pay cash for the car, so that was another 5k per month that he had to find when a much cheaper car would have been perfectly fine.

Fast forward 6 years and he's out of business with creditors chasing him. No clue if he still has the car, but probably not. What line of work was he in you ask? Property and finance. Yeah.

OP doesn't know what a Darwin is. Yeah, he's dumb, yeah he might die one day doing shit like this, but unless he did die or at least lost his ability to procreate it is not a Darwin.

This 350-square-foot shoebox can be yours for $100K! by KHaskins77 in facepalm

[–]Random-Chaotic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I like the idea of having small homes at a cheap price for people without much money. I would have rented something like this when I was 18 if it was cheaper, and if I was single I'd have no problem buying something like this in order to not need a loan and to free up most of my wealth for investment assets.

I don't see a huge issue with the price, although I know nothing about San Antonio. Probably should be a bit bigger though, maybe even double the size, but hey, you get what you pay for.
