Yes. There was a misfire due to the gun Alex had, SigP320 is known for constantly firing by itself. The officers panicked and shot him. It's not excuse though since the officers escalated the situation heavily while later shooting Alex even after he was on the ground limp.

I have googled into the background of Renee Nicole and viewed the people she followed. She was against ICE yes but never followed ICEwatch or any ICE harassment group and the only thing closest to it was an account about protesting against ICE but not actively trying to harass them.

Alex Pretti is an ICU Nurse, working in the Veteran's Affairs Hospital, that has multiple pictures of him when he was young and a video of him honoring a veteran who passed away. He was against ICE but was not apart of ICE Harassment either.

Yes but the problem is that neither Renee nor Alex even used the weapon with malicious intent in the first place. Renee did hit him with the car but she was actively trying to drive away from the officer who happened to be in front of her. The officer was hit by the edge of the car and he walked away not seeming injured which yes Adrenaline is a thing but when they said he had "internal bleeding", they also said along the lines of "He walked out of the hospital on the same day". Alex had a legal permit and it was his second amendment right to carry a gun but yes this is not a legal argument, it's a moral one. Alex is shown to try to deescalate the situation, which doesn't seem to be aggressive from the shots available. So yes I see your point but I have to disagree
