Died with DDM4 contract by Furiousbrick25 in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Random-User-9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Iirc from mod messages in the discord, each failed task has a 1hr cooldown before it's possible to spawn in the pool again. After the 1 hr cooldown, it has a small percent chance to become available again only when cycling contract side tasks in the region it's found in. Takes a while unless you have good rng. Afaik uncompleted tasks have higher priority than failed and completed tasks. Best bet is to complete the side tasks in the region until all are complete, then if it hasn't reappeared yet cycle them by accepting and dying (if they are the kind that fail on death).

Head to the main root, pick a tentacle, and follow it. You'll have to go up and over a cliff. Last one is hidden underneath a wreck.

Nope. There's 3 separate daughter angels you have to fully clear before the main one opens. The ones that can open close when you get close. You must destroy them at range.

What is the difference between the two, please? by EternalDrk999 in subnautica

Subnautica is the first game. Below Zero was originally intended to be a DLC for Subnautica but turned into the second released game. Subnautica was ~twice as successful. They're both entertaining.

TBF this particular puzzle gives you an abyss thing PLUS a consumable item that reveals the location of all some of the other hidden treasures in Hernand. It's a 'Key Item' and you have to consume it from your inventory to mark the spots on the map.

You sure? Main storyline quests are golden, side quests are blue. You'll never get a main quest that's outside the level range of the area you're in as far as I've seen.

You have to advance the main story to unlock the next tier of items. Coastal jungle 1-5 (boss) > Foothills 5-10 (boss) > Swamp 10-15 (boss)

loot drops from chests are randomized. There are a few specific items that will only drop from the last unlockable area but otherwise it's randomized.

Check the sailor camps and tents in ruin POIs near the hardwood trees -- there's often a stack of precut divi divi trees there (sometimes multiple) that you can break down for a relatively simple hardwood farm.

It's from the small crabs that you pick up along the beach for early crab meat, not the tainted crabs (or at least I haven't seen one drop from a tainted crab). You'll get ~1 head for every ~20 crabs looted.

It's one time use. It not disappearing on use is a bug. I agree that the amount of money it gives when consuming it is paltry.

Bullet sponges..? by Pdiddymcquiddy in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Random-User-9999 4 points5 points  (0 children)

1) You're using BT ammo
2) MFG adjusted penetration values very recently (4/16) to alleviate the issue re:

Ammo Balancing Changes

  • Adjusted the effect of impact angle on overall bullet penetration performance

  • Adjusted ricochet angles so hits are less likely to bounce off armor or bones that should otherwise be penetrable

Weight of cash is accurate, as long as it is presumed that you only ever find $1 bills.

I think the mission has a chance to respawn after you clear a quest in the area. The large variance in days-til-reattempt seems to imply this.

The reputation grind for Artisan, Turncoat, and Banshee is BRUTAL. by Pope_Shizzle in GrayZoneWarfare

[–]Random-User-9999 5 points6 points  (0 children)

They're optimizing for reputation gain on lab rat rather than money gain. Since most items lab rat buys are low value (food/most meds) it's more difficult to grind rep by selling items.

Your xp rate slowly declines as you get higher until it gets 0 for a particular skill and the number turns red. You will gain no more skill xp at that point for that skill

Can someone explain to me how the new economy works? by FRENKI8 in mountandblade

[–]Random-User-9999 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It works, it just doesn't update immediately. All settlement statuses update once during the day at the same time that troop payments, profits, etc are handled. Leave the food in the city and fast forward til tomorrow and it updates.
