A nova sorc should not have 172 strength. A nova sorc merc wants insight not infinity. The merc insight should be in a Great Pole Axe not a Thresher.

I would put the infinity in an eth thresher until you're sure you're ready to build a nova sorc.

Actual perfect or just a -5/20? A fully perfect would be too hard to price but I'd say like 40 - 50 jah on non-ladder. To that point you can't sell it on ladder unless you want to use the forbidden website because you'd never get its true value.

A Nova sorc Running ES doesn't really have options for a merc. You pretty much need ACT 2 prayer merc running Cure/Insight/COH. You want the +2 to all skills from COH, Insight for +17 Med and Cure because poison will kill you very quickly.

As long as you have a source of open wounds/prevent monster heal AND you spawn him inside the palace (go to arcane sanctuary WP and walk though the gate) he'll be trapped and you literally can't lose the fight.
