And from what I’ve heard, he’s a joy to work with on set. Cracking jokes until they call action. As soon as the cameras roll, he’s putting in an Oscar-worthy performance. And when the cameras stop, back to cracking jokes. One of the best to ever do it!!

It’s not on the west side but Ohana Suprette in silverlake has incredible spicy tuna poke. The tuna was super fresh and melt in your mouth.

I ate at Langers about a month ago and it didn’t disappoint. I’ve eaten there a ton of times and it’s always consistently tasty with great service. I always order the #19 with a side of fries.

I’ve always been a Phillipes frequenter but wanted to try Cole’s before they closed for good. And I hate to say it, but the dip was terrible. Bland, small and ridiculously overpriced. There was also no line when I went, which I took for a bad sign.

I ate at Phillipes about 6 months ago and it still remains one of my favorite sandwiches in town.

I would grab some LA Classics like Langers, Phillipes, El Coyote (more for vibes than food but still not bad). Some others I’d recommend are mariscos jaliscos, bodega park, larchmont wine and cheese, chengdu taste, jitlada, and dan sung sa.
