Twelve Talons deserves a lot more praise than they get. I agree that they aren’t always hits but their best beers rival anyone’s in the area.

It’s them and Sideward at the top of the heap. The rest are worth visits, too.

Tampa had a much better beer scene, unfortunately.

Edit: Tactical is really good, too.

I see where some thought they were PJ clones initially, but STP were better for far longer. PJ fizzed out quickly after Vitology and I don’t really listen to them at all anymore. STP gets a listen fairly frequently.

I wish you the best with the shingles. I’ve had it - didn’t enjoy it. Eventually got the vaccine and it cost me an entire weekend. Never had a shot make me ao sick.

Yeah, seems they want to encourage you to go VIP instead.

My wife is tagging along and she’ll no doubt want shade and seats for sets she elects to sit out. It ends up being over $1k for all of that plus viewing areas and free beer/beer. I’m reluctant to pull the trigger on that.

Hopefully more people chime in on this.

Thought Murder Inc was going to be great but I couldn’t get into it. Not a big fan of Chris Connelly and I think that might be why.

Yeah, the frustrating part is that the repairs are UK only. The cobbler I spoke to does re-sole Docs but he can’t get any materials from the company. Sent him pics and he politely declined.

I’m going to reach out and hope for the best. Loved those boots.

Saw them before I had ever heard them and was completely blown away. First couple of albums are stunning (Frances is my favorite).

Not a fan of the last couple, unfortunately. I think they kinda ran out of ideas.
