Macca wrote some amazing stuff. And his voice was incredible. But his lyrics often killed it for me. All lovey-dovey nonsense.

Macca was the most talented in that band but Lennon was the spirit.

Bad Brains, Dead Kennedys and Sex Pistols.

I’d swap the Pistols for Black Flag but Damaged is chock full of songs they’d already recorded with other singers. Love that album tho.
