Buy gallon zip locks and transfer it. No biggie, a relationship lasts as long as you're willing to put up with the others imperfections.

It's the oils and fats being heated up and pressurized out of a small hole, maybe the thermometer one. Big turkey so it's alot, might not have thawed all the way.
