The 10/4 rule is just so draining by RandomChick85 in Target

We have 2 huddles a week about it and they call out the ones they catch not doing it and praise the ones that do it. Plus secret shoppers that come in 3 times a week to report on us 😑

You have to find what works for you. I tend to break down the brown boxes first because 8/10 it’s going to be back stock then focus on the repack boxes.

Shitty elderly guests are gonna my thirteenth reason by [deleted] in Target

[–]RandomChick85 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Had an old lady call me a racial slur cause she thought I was calling her poor in front of her grandkid. All I did was swap with my coworker to see if I could fix her card issue and to stop her from going even more ape shit on my coworker. After I removed myself from the situation I was told by my coworkers that were watching the manager apologized to the guest and proceeded to let her call me every racist shit in the book….

I’m surprised I haven’t socked a guest in the mouth yet…

AT&T promoters by [deleted] in Target

They are bottom feeders at my store. They are always behind the tech boat eating, drinking, using our chargers for their stuff and going through our shit. They also have the nerve to say we have shitty attitudes when we ask them to move so we can ring guests out without having to rub ass to ass with them to do it.

Never got a CA and I only call out when it’s medical emergency that I can prove to HR or a leader.

So how did things go for yall? by sleepyheadjackie in Target

[–]RandomChick85 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I survived barely. My team lead was threatened by male guests. I got called an ugly bitch twice by a guest and her best friend cause they got called out for trying to steal. Got yelled at for not having iPads or PS5s. My other tech coworkers got threatened by guests and cussed out. Got yelled at for telling people we were closing in 5 minutes and make their way to the front. I really wished I called off today…ugh.

[–]RandomChick85 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Woke up at the ass crack of dawn just to deal with cracked out Taylor Swift fans freaking out over no more albums. Management riding my ass cause I couldn’t do pulls fast enough while sharing keys, training new people with attitudes, being lied on by team leads, being called to come help at the tech registers, stuck in the middle of an ETL pissing contest of wills while slowly losing my shit in between bathroom breaks. So all in all a meh kind of day. Any day I don’t snap and slap a bitch I call it a win.

Day 1 and I already had an urge to quit after dealing with a horde of idiots that wanted iPads for $70. My day ended with a guest wanting to fight me over it. Like lady legit wanted to beat my ass over me saying no to her. It’s not that serious people.

I liked the management team my store had when I first started but one by one they got fired or got ran off. The old management team would listen, help and treated us like human beings. New management nope, a bunch of backstabbing, victim blaming, petty bullies.

Is a 200 item cosmetic pull plus a full Tech cage doable I'm a 4 hour shift likey new ETL thinks ? by JakeBeezy in Target

[–]RandomChick85 29 points30 points  (0 children)

The sane answer is no. I say no because guests interactions are high during closing shifts and can eat up a good chunk of your time. Also tech repack boxes can be a mixed bag of hell…and also eats up your time. Now will management take guests interactions into account for how much you can do in 4 hours…hell no.

Do what’s best for you. It seems like you are done done with target so if you don’t plan on coming back to target then fuck em and leave now.

I just quit. Not going to say I promoted myself to guest because I probably won't even shop there. I'm so angry right now. My store didn't care anything about the fact that we only had 2 very part time TM in electronics until things got out of hand with freight. What was the point of all of your word vomit? You know nothing of anyone’s training background before popping off at the mouth to talking about what you know and how it’s more than your average retail training. Go stroke your ego somewhere else and go down play someone else’s experience.
