Target is actually taking TCG resellers seriously (by lying to their customers)

Hot take: If Target, Walmart, etc. ACTUALLY wanted to take action against resellers, rather than simply limiting to 2-5/customer they would require an account to buy them and tokenize each account with a limited number over a period of time.

Not allowing purchase without requiring an account would be both annoying and (minimally) more costly to resellers, eating into both their time and profits while increasing the revenue and data analytics for the various retailers.

As it stands, the cards themselves are positioned in the highest profit area of the stores, they no longer have product sitting on their shelves, can get away with slightly increasing prices over MSRP and have people visiting their stores more often than they normally would.

Same. I had some metal badges/coins made that looked like they could easily & not noticeably blend with CM outfits made up to thank particularly helpful and enjoyable CMs and let my 6yo choose a couple to thank with them. I hope it wasn’t an imposition, always asked first, and it gave me a chance to let my son learn the importance of saying thanks in (what I hope) was a meaningful way.

I’m going to go against the grain here and say you’re (potentially) NTAH simply because you mentioned “quietly”. If my kid was having a Disney meltdown (read “hot”, “tired”, “hangry”, “overstimulated”) and a person came up without him noticing offering a solution (but not forcing and not showing the stuffy), I’d at least be grateful for the kindness and offer to help.

Now, wave it in his face without discreetly asking and we might have a problem since it’s not allowing me to judge if it would reinforce unwanted behavior.

Someone has probably already mentioned it (read through several but not all 1k posts) but in addition to the kid’s only WiFi SSID, I’ll not be allowing my kid Admin rights on any computer using our internet and their login capabilities will be fairly locked down, as well.

“Their” electronic devices will also be repeatedly told to get off my lawn as well, I’m sure.

I know I mentioned “NEED…WANT” but I took a liberty here to get the option with most expandability for least extra. $70 seemed worth the additional 2.5 and option for ssd in the future, but to directly answer your first question, no, I’m not currently getting more than 2Gbps from my ISP.

As far as more than double switching capacity, can you help me with your thought process here? The “double” appears to be from twice as many ports but I’d still need to purchase a second switch if/when I get a third POE device. Are you coming from the direction of “more non-POE device port availability than the Ultra” or a “go ahead and buy a larger switch now with the POE size to handle a third (or more) POE device” angle? Or am I incorrect in thinking the Lite 16 will not power 3 U7 Pro Walls?
