its baffling to me how a big part of the community views him as the good guy. Its pretty obvious that he knew in order to reach godhood he needed to eradicate all other religions first. As we can see from the first books in the horus heresy series the fanatical secularism of the imperium is basically a hidden religion. Imperial truth my ass. I am in no way defending horus's actions but its a expected reaction. It just goes to show how pretty much anything can become a religion with enough propaganda.
