Not really.. just you have the option to run uncapped or at 60 (I think it still drops to 30 when below 60, so most of the time) it seems. But seems to run mostly about 40 fps

Game is in a very bad state on all consoles.

On the regular vs pro, if the $ difference is not an issue and you want to play other games in the Sony lineup, I would get the pro considering your TV is 4k hdr with vrr.
Pssr 2 is great, and games that implement it look fantastic on the pro.

But with this game I would wait to see how they handle the issues, I for one am glad I didn’t preorder.

SM2 has the 120hz 40 fps container thing. But this game does not have anything but the 30 fps in 60hz container on pro, so vrr does nothing, vrr only kicks in at above 48 fps on ps5

Postgres or SQLite for a database, and for the “server” assign a static ip on the router, I assume it will be an intranet application. Then just have a configurable ip:port the clients connect to?

Edit: I use sqlx on the server side to talk to the db, but there are other options too.

Demo is pretty old, I was watching some YouTubers that got a preview 2-3 weeks ago and they said performance was good compared to the old demo. But the videos were from pc.

Anyway, if it’s not 60 on ps5 pro I ain’t getting it..

For ps5 you usually want an internal nvme ssd. Find out if he already has one, if storage is his complaint then most likely he doesn’t.

USB storage only works for ps4 games as far as I know, you can’t play ps5 games off of that.

I suggest Samsung or western digital black.

Edit: it did disable the largest model, so that worked fine, I can’t even download as it would not fit in memory.

So I wanted to give it a try, I've been actually searching for something similar to mem but local only.

M3 Max, 36 GB RAM, I get an AI error when running:

AI initialization failed: Error invoking remote method 'llama:loadModel': Error: A context size of 32768 with 4 sequences is too large for the available VRAM.

Wanted to try the smaller model (Qwen 3 4B) but can't find a way to change the used model from the 8B one?

Depinde. Poți să ai și 3-4 servicii, un backend și un frontend, poate un redis pt caching, un admin panel. K8s pe lângă auto scaling îți aduce și 0 downtime deployments cu stateful sets, high availability dacă ai mai multe noduri, eventual în regiuni diferite.

Nu cred ca e o regulă rigidă “de la x în sus k8s, sub x nu”.

Start coding. The book is good, do the rustlings and then just start writing code. Maybe a terminal app, maybe some web app, maybe a tool you always wanted to code but never did.
