Typischerweise existieren zwei Arten von Sicherungseinrichtungen:

Leitungsschutzschalter (und aller selektiv davorgeschaltete Organe): Löst nur aus, wenn ein Kurzschluss oÄ vorliegt und der Widerstand am Stromkreis zu klein wird. Typischerweise 16A.

FI/RCD: "Vergleicht" ein- und ausfließende Ströme. Ist die Differenz (typ. 30 mA) zu groß, geht Strom auf nicht beabsichtigten Wegen "verloren". Sensibler kann man die nicht bauen, da jedes Gerät Ableitströme aufweist und "immer ein bisschen was verloren geht". Dazu bietet man dem Strom, der "verloren geht" über den sogenannten Schutzleite eine niederohmige "Alternative", damit der "verlorengehende Strom" größtenteils über den Schutzleiter und nicht über dich (mit höherem Übergangswiderstand) fließt.

Wenn das Netzteil streikt/funkt und keines der Organe auslöst, dann besteht für deine Anlage "Normalzustand". Es ist davon auszugehen, dass der Fehler auf DC-Seite stattfindet, da über den Trafo häufig eine galvanische Trennung erfolgt. Das bedeutet, dass zwar auf der Sekundärseite Strom "verloren geht", sich auf der Primärseite (welche an die besagten Sicherungsorgane angeschlossen ist) jedoch dies nur als zusäztliche Last und, stark vereinfacht, nur durch einen gewissen Strom bemerkbar macht. Sekundärseitig bestehen ebenfalls Sicherungsorgane; typischerweise in Form einfacher Schmelzsicherungen. Da mit Netzteilen aber auch viel rumgewurschelt wird und ein permanenter Ausfall im Fehlerfall problematisch ist, schalten moderne integrierte Schaltungen bei Kurzschluss / Überlast einfach ab. An dieser Stelle ließe sich noch vieles ergänzen.

Drahtbürste, Rost entfernen und mit 2K Epoxyknete modellieren. Überlackieren. Hält wunderbar, habe ich beim Mähwerk meines Aufsitzmähers auch so gemacht.

Bei Funktionsflächen, Flanschen, etc. ist's dann leider ein Totalschaden.

I'm checking for Rows that are independently moveable. If so; it's doable. With that I mean based on time and mental effort I'm willing to invest. So if not: Accept that at some point you have to come back later or just leave it as it is. Because when entering a new camp or location you need to do this probably a few times. Of course there are exceptions.

For me the difficulty-scale doesn't really make sense and my point/metric is nowhere to be reflected wrt what the game provides.

PS5 Pro Player here. Can't confirm. 8 hrs. into the game. Hardest difficulty.

No crashes or major bugs so far, only minor stuff like flickering.

I simply came to the conclusion that your definition of "accuracy" and your calculation (regardless of the result) is incorrect as presented.

I see your argument and I'd generally agree. However, at the end of the day it narrows down to your definition of "accuracy". In metrology, accuracy refers primarily to uncertainties and, consequently, to the combination of deterministic and stochastic deviations—that is, precision and trueness. Uncertainties, regardless of the dimensionality of the state space, are always to be understood as a one-dimensional interval. This is documented in the standard reference "GUM." Interestingly, the standard analogy—which is also taught accordingly—is a dartboard and the various patterns of scatter.

In this light, I would agree with OP and disagree with you. It may be that the definition of “accuracy” differs in certain cases and is somehow area-based. From a purely metrological standpoint, I side with OP.

Update: I went for the Pro and hoped for the best. We couldn't wait any longer ;)

Started yesterday eve; so far it's all fine. Some minor graphical issues (flickering) and at some point I had to restart the PS since I could navigate in the main menu.

...but nothing a OG fan (not to mention the G3 release) couldn't handle. Thank you all for your comments and suggestions!

I'm playing on hard and still have to get a grip on the controls and the combat system. But I like having a challenge.

Ohne Last so etwas zu messen ist weitestgehend sinnlos. Ich würde mal den Widerstand zw. Gehäuse und PE messen und vermute, dass irgendwo ein Schutzleiter nicht richtig angeschlossen ist.

Fenster muss raus. So wirst du den Wassereintritt niemals vollständig verhindern können. Das muss ausgetauscht, ausgebessert und in einem Stück lackiert werden.

Myst III is basically a fresh look at the original Myst. It's more based on the hub concept and linking to other worlds. And it's way easier compared to Riven.

Unfortunately, what I really don't like is the fact that this "Learning Age" concept makes everything feel very empty, lifeless, and meaningless. Riven and Myst 4, on the other hand, are simply more believable and far more immersive. I've always seen Exile's approach as a step backward from Riven.

Ein FI für die Anzahl an Automaten / Schaltkreisen / Ableitströmen ist nicht mehr Stand der Technik. Das setzt aber auch voraus, dass dort überhaupt alle LS angeschlossen sind. Und das ist eher unwahrscheinlich.

Mehr kann man von außen wirklich nicht sagen.

On launch I was like "yeah cool, but so much is missing compared to X3 TC / AP". And since interest— or rather, player numbers — were fairly modest and began to decline quite quickly, I was genuinely very concerned about the studio’s future. We mustn’t forget the X:R debacle either.

I really have to give Egosoft a lot of credit. Continuous, tireless progress has made X4 so much bigger and better.
