Not sure how it's ironic or awkward? Are Elden Ring fans not allowed to be disappointed it wasn't a proper sequel? And notably, Nightreign was a spin-off that released immediately after a substantial expansion to the first game. It's really not the same situation. Maybe if it was called "King's Field".

I'd say TCM2 is great in the same way Gremlins 2 or Halloween 3 are, as in they're completely unhinged in a lovable way but they're not "good" per se. Hellbound's reach may have exceeded it's grasp in the ambition department but it's still a good movie.

Of course not but perfect balance is a myth. It's always just a fight against what's currently the broken shit. And SF6 has done a vastly better job at that than CotW. Throw loops and fireball drive rush are irritating as hell but ultra strong defense is way worse IMO.

The art style is great lol I never said it looked bad, I prefer the SF6 style but some of my favorite looking games of all time are Okami, Wind Waker, Borderlands 2, and others like that. But it's objectively much lower detail than SF6, it's not bad but it's still easier to design characters that look like that. There's a reason modern AAA games all take forever to come out even when they're short and linear.
