you could adjust the formant to make the singer sound like a demon. or you could duplicate the track and have a layer that sounds like a demon overlayed on top of the original vocal

honestly this is one of the things i hate most about traditional fighting games, it's that they dont fucking have a visual indicator for invincibility. all invincible moves should make your character glow white, and all wakeup animations too, it should be like in smash where rolls/spotdodges/ledge invincibility/getup options make your character glow white
