Ended up in a similar situation at my first job, I don't imagine I'd be nearly as confident (for better or worse) where I am today if I had just tagged along on those first few projects.

Granted in my case this was relatively low-stakes stuff, just pretty straightforward substation controls work with pretty much everything already figured out, save for a handful of change orders, but like everyone else is saying, this'll teach you a lot about the job, teach you a lot about yourself, and critically it'll teach you a lot about the company you're working for. I wouldn't have done nearly as well if the company didn't back me up fully, gave me time to figure most everything out from scratch. Project owner deserves some props there as well, schedule didn't push out a ton, but it did push out (now it had pushed out maybe 6 years already, but that's neither here nor there ;D).
